Visions Of Atlantis has issued the following announcement about bringing on a new lineup:
"VOA warmly welcomes French soprano Clémentine Delauney and Austrian singer Siegfried Samer as new front vocalists! In addition, VOA is going 'back to the roots' and reunites founding members Werner Fiedler VOA (guitars), Chris Kamper (synths), Mike Koren (bass) and Thomas Caser (drums).

Visions Of Atlantis has posted the following message online about canceling two upcoming festival appearances:
"Dear VOA Fans, especially those who were looking forward to seeing us at the Metal Female Voices Fest and Konzertfabrik Z7 in Pratteln this weekend.
"We regret to inform you that VOA has to cancel both festivals appearance due to unforeseen and very unfortunate circumstances. We hope that this does not prevent all of you from having a great time at the festivals. VOA is looking to make this up to the festival promoters and fans in 2014."

Austrian based symphonic metal act Visions of Atlantis posted a preview clips for the entire new LP "Ethera." The album is the band's fifth release, which drops on March 22, 2013 via Napalm Records.
The band is touring in support of Serenity in the "War of Ages All Over Europe" tour commencing on the same day of the release in Wörgl, but will be missing vocalist Mario Plank, who was forced to miss the tour due to his obligations at the university of applied sciences. Replacing Plank for the live shows will be Astral DNA vocalist Babis Nikou.

Austrian symphonic metal band Visions of Atlantis have revealed the track listing and album artwork for the band's upcoming fifth LP "Ethera." The album is set to drop on March 22, 2013 via Napalm Records. The band had finished recording the album back in May of 2012 and revealed the title prior to that. "Ethera" was produced and mixed by Frank Pitters & Jakob Grabmayr with mastering done by Mika Jussila/Finnvox.

Dutch symphonic metal outfit Delain has been confirmed as the headliner for the upcoming 2013 Dames of Darkness Festival, which will take place at The Robin 2 in Bilston, near Birmingham. The event returns by popular demand after five years and is set to take place on Saturday, May 11th and features eight female fronted metal bands from the U.K. and Europe.

Austrian symphonic metal band Visions of Atlantis announced that Emergency Gate drummer Raphael Saini will be a guest of the band for two headline shows in Cyprus and Greece on November 3, 2012 and November 9, 2012. The band's permanent drummer Thomas Caser is unavailable due to his tight job obligations with Napalm Records Headquarters as Head of A&R. Saini appeared with the band in 2011 during its tour with Rhapsody of Fire.
The band is also in the midst of putting the final touches on its recently recorded new LP "Ethera." Some studio reports on the recordings, featuring bassist/producer Fabio D'Amore (Serenity/Mirrormaze/Pathosray) can be found over here, here and also at this location.

Visions of Atlantis has issued the following announcement about finishing the recording of a new album:
"Hey all out there! The recordings for our upcoming album Ethera are finished and we're eagerly waiting for receiving a release date which should be in fall 2012!
"For all those being interested in seeing us live should check out the NOVAROCK festival (Nickelsdorf, Austria) starting by the end of next week where we'll play on SAT June 9th late afternoon.

Austrian symphonic metal band Visions of Atlantis announced that the new album will be entitled "Ethera." The album will be the fifth release from the band and the second full length album with vocalist Maxi Nil. The band is currently recording "Ethera" in Italy with producers Fabio D'Amore, bassist for label and country mates Serenity and Ivan Moni Bidin, drummer for Pathosray, Garden Wall and Last Warning.
The band's latest Facebook post reads as follows:
"Visions of Atlantis is proud to present you E T H E R A as the title of the upcoming 5th album for which the band is in the studio at the moment. Austrian symphonic metal band Visions of Atlantis is currently recording at Artesonika Studios in Pordenone, Italy, where the band is creating the follow up to 2011's "Delta." Austrian symphonic metal band Visions of Atlantis will enter Artesonika Studios in Pordenone, Italy on January 21, 2012 to record the band's follow up to the comeback album "Delta" released early 2011. The producers for the record will be Fabio D'Amore, bassist for label and country mates Serenity and Ivan Moni Bidin, drummer for Pathosray, Garden Wall and Last Warning. D'Amore will also perform as guest bass player for the record.
Nicole Bogner, former Visions of Atlantis singer from 2000-2005, has passed away at 27 years old after fighting a "severe disease over a long period of time." Bogner sang on the band's first two releases "Eternal Endless Infinity" (2002) and "Cast Away" (2004).
The following is the statement posted on the band's Facebook page:
"In deep mourning and with highest respect we have to notify all Visions of Atlantis fans that our former female Singer Nicole Bogner has passed away at the age of 27 after fighting a severe disease over a long period of time. The band is shocked about the loss of an old VoA-family member but wants to express sincere gratitude to Nicole not only for 5 years of sharing a musical Vision but also for more than a decade of friendship inside and outside of Visions of Atlantis. Without Nicole Visions Of Atlantis would have never been born and her unique voice and personality were a big part of VoA. With Nicole a great part of Visions Of Atlantis died as well. We will always treasure your warm hearted soul, you will never be forgotten Nici...

On the heels of a successful 2011, which saw the release of both the full length "Delta" and the EP release "Maria Magdalena," Austrian symphonic metal band Visions Of Atlantis are set to enter the studio this January to record the band's fifth full length release and the second with new singer Maxi Nil.
In a message to fans on the band's Official Facebook Page":
"Final preparations are in progress and everyone is getting ready.... VISIONS OF ATLANTIS will start the recordings for the upcoming 5th album in !! 2 weeks !! and the band is excited and full of energy about all the things coming up the next months!!
