Visions Of Atlantis Debuts "Monsters" Music Video

Closely following their recently wrapped and highly successful tour of North America, Visions Of Atlantis are back at sea to release their stunning second single, "Monsters," taken from their upcoming album, "Pirates II – Armada," set for release on July 5, 2024 via Napalm Records. The pirates of Visions Of Atlantis are about to take listeners on their heaviest symphonic adventure yet with their new studio album and successor to their high-charting previous release, "Pirates" (2022). The album reaches as high as the waves cresting the Jolly Roger - taking everything that has been achieved to date to another level.

The new track, "Monsters," is a haunting musical adventure illustrating the confrontation with inner monsters, beginning with calm passages that burst into a rhythmic refrain, showing off the full musical power of the pirate queen Clémentine Delauney and brave captain Michele Guaitoli. With this preview of the second chapter of the pirates’ saga, Visions Of Atlantis prove that they are more than ready to claim the crown of symphonic metal and are eager to take stages by storm on their European tour this fall. Their raid will begin with their fulminant album release show in Aschaffenburg on July 6, 2024 and will be continued in the fall with the extensive Armada tour boasting 33 shows all over Europe – the biggest headliner tour of their promising career so far. Brace yourself and get ready for this unique symphonic metal spectacle!

Vocalist Michele Guaitoli comments:
"We fought the raging storms, the most dreadful foes and the darkest nights. Yet the worst enemy appears to be something we cannot face with cannons and sabers. This battle will be the hardest, as it’s time to look straight the eyes of the ‘Monsters’ inside of us.

"Proud and without fears, we’re ready. Are you?” More...

70000 Tons Of Metal 2023: Day Three

This year, thousands of metal fans boarded the Independence Of The Seas to enjoy the eleventh round of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise, which departed from Miami on January 30th and made its way to Bimini, Bahamas. On the third day, as is custom, the ship landed at its destination and the Caribbean warmly greeted headbangers from all over the world. This sun kissed part of the world is absolutely stunning, a treat for lovers of warm weather and beautiful scenery, though be prepared to spend should you find yourself heading to the district, as several beaches require a $20 entry fee. Even the free beach is limited, with visitors required to buy a wrist band to go further, should they so wish. After an hour or so of soaking up the rays and enjoying a drink on a sun lounger by the sea, it was back on board to have the customary nap before the musical shenanigans we'd all come for began.

Having overslept a little, it was a race to the Star Lounge for the first time this voyage to see Texan progressive/Gothic metal outfits Oceans Of Slumber. Having seen the band without any knowledge of their background five years ago in London (and being blown away,) there was no way I was missing out on seeing them again. The intimate setting only enhanced their soulful melodies and bittersweet heaviness and those who crammed into the lounge were treated to one of the more emotionally charged sets of the festival. Singer Cammie Gilbert's voice is as powerful as ever and clearly impressed newcomers and fans alike, as her performance was the talk of many visitors throughout the rest of the night. Oceans Of Slumber has come a long way in five years and in the next five, they'll become one of American metal's most popular names and sooner rather than later no doubt. More...

Visions Of Atlantis Shares "Clocks" Music Video

Hitting the German charts in the Top 20 for the first time, Visions Of Atlantis returned strongly with their most recent acclaimed studio release, "Pirates" in 2022, followed by extensive touring through Europe and the US. There’s no time to rest for the Pirates, so they start 2023 with the release of a brand new high quality official music video.

Capturing their dedicated fans in the video, the rousing single "Clocks" will make every symphonic metal enthusiast’s heart pound faster. Fixing itself in the minds of the crowd forever, catchy harmonies are underlined by bouncy metal beats.

The single comes just in time for the band’s announcement of their Pirates Over Europe tour, featuring support from Autumn Bride, and kicking off in Germany on April 4. The tour will follow their Pirates Over North America tour, featuring support from The Spider Accomplice and beginning on February 7 in Los Angeles, CA.

Visions Of Atlantis on "Clocks":

Clémentine Delauney: "We are so excited to be able to release a video for ”Clocks” as we love this song and we noticed that it quickly became one of our fans’ favorites as well! We could tell from the crowd’s response every time we started to play this song live last year! So here is a fun portrait of what enjoying life as a pirate can be about, remembering the clock is ticking… Let’s all make a golden play out of 2023!"

Michele Guaitoli: "We couldn’t have a better way to celebrate this new video release than with a tour announcement! Our 2023 won’t only start with our first headlining US tour, that will see ‘The Spider Accomplice’ as special guests, but we’re also announcing another European round in cities we couldn’t reach during the previous run! Autumn Bride will join us for this new adventure…and believe it or not, more news will follow!" More...
