Marcus won't be able to play this tour with us, so our good friend and former guitarist Tim Siebrecht will play the bass position on this tour! Hope to see you guys!"

Ava Inferi has checked in with the following update about Spanish shows alongside Moonspell:

Moonspell has announced a string of upcoming Spanish tour dates in December, which have been dubbed the "Vintage Tour" and is in celebration of the early albums "Wolfheart" and "Irreligious." Details on the currently announced dates are available in the tour poster below.
Moonspell also recently announced a new album is in the works, with recording set to begin in August. Although the title has yet to be announced, the band revealed the revealed the initials will be "AN."
After previously releasing a lengthy post about the lack of updates for a new album, Moonspell has now checked in with the following update about the band's recording process:
"The new album proceeds and we will do a second pre-production with Benny Ricther in late July and Mike will record drums for these songs, most likely in Germany.
"The rest of the album will be tracked bys us and Tue Madsen during the month of August. Once the music is done, we will be able to give a better insight into this new concept and way of making things.
"Until then we count the days until we are able to match our big words with one of the most exciting collection of songs we ever worked in as composers."
Additional details on Moonspell's upcoming new album will be announced as they are made available.
Gothic metal act Moonspell has been tight-lipped about the band's upcoming album and follow-up to 2008's "Night Eternal." The band has now posted a lengthy updated on Facebook regarding the album and the band's recent festival appearances. The new album's initials will be "AN" (no full title has been revealed yet) and it is currently expected to drop in 2012. "Some news and reflections about both: Summer festivals: so far, so good! We just came back from yet another fantastic reception at the great Graspop festival in Dessel, Belgium. It was the fifth time we were graced with an invitation to play and the Marquee 1 was the perfect stage and atmosphere to deliver what we called a 'vintage' set comprised only of Wolfheart and Irreligious song. For us and for the crowd was quite of a powerfully atmospheric communion and our hearts were filled when we came offstage. It was great to meet so many friends from other bandas (Cradle, Lacuna, Amorphis, Tryptikon), and sometimes it felt we were on a high school meeting, not able to give a step without bumping into a hug or someone to greet. Powerwolf has issued the following brief announcement about appearing at the upcoming Metalcamp festival:
"The Wolves will hold the sermon of steel at this year's Metalcamp on July 15th. Can't wait to sanctify this wonderful place with wolfish metal."

The organizers of Belgium's premier heavy metal festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, have announced three more names for this year's edition of the festival. Thrash metal super group Dublin Death Patrol, which features Testament frontman Chuck Billy and Hatriot/former Exodus vocalist Steve "Zetro" Souza, will be performing at the event, as will Rise To Remain, which includes Austin Dickinson, the son o iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson, as well as All Shall Perish. Italy's Bejelit has checked in with the following update about playing Metal Camp 2011:
"Bejelit are pleased to announce that they will be one of the few bands to hold high the banner of the Italian Metal at Metal Camp 2011, the prestigious Festival which will take place from the 11th to the 17th July in Tolmin, Slovenia, for its eighth edition.
"This year Metalcamp will host names such as Airborne, Blind Guardian, In Extremo, Slayer, Moonspell, and many many others. Bejelit already participated to the festival in 2008. The precise date and all the information about the gig will be announced shortly."

The organizers of Belgium's Graspop Metal Meeting festival have announced that Cavalera Conspiracy, the band featuring Sepultura founders Igor and Max Cavalera, have been confirmed for the event. Also added to the bill is Russian folk metal band Arkona. Neither band's performance date has been confirmed as of yet however. The festival takes place in the town of Dessel from June 24th-26th.
