Carach Angren Recording New Album
Dutch black metal band Carach Angren has issued the following statement about preparing to record a new album:
"CARACH ANGREN – STOP – RECORDING IN AUGUST – STOP – ALBUM NAME: DEATH CAME THROUGH A PHANTOM SHIP – STOP – RELEASED END 2009 VIA MADDENING MEDIA – STOP – SAVE YOUR SOULS – STOP
"On their pillage through the seven sickening seas, the haunted Dutch four-master CARACH ANGREN boarded countless freighters and encountered frightening boats to witness a story of naval terror and elemental fright - for it is them who beheld as 'DEATH CAME THROUGH A PHANTOM SHIP'!
"As of August 2009, CARACH ANGREN will call at a port to record a report of what should have better remained submerged in the fathomless depths of the Oceans.
"It shall be by the end of 2009 then when MADDENING MEDIA will open their cursed chest and unleash the haunting contents upon the masses."

A new CARACH ANGREN track, entitled "A Strange Presence Near The Woods", is available for streaming on the group's MySpace page. The song comes off the Dutch symphonic black metal act's new concept album, "Lammendam", due on April 18 via Maddening Media, the label run by LE GRAND GUIGNOL singer Philip Breuer. Maddening Media Signs Le Grand Guignol
Newly-founded record-label Maddening Media has announced their first signing: LE GRAND GUIGNOL (former VINDSVAL)
LE GRAND GUIGNOL’s forthcoming album “The Great Maddening” has been recorded at TidalWave-Studios by Patrick Damiani (Falkenbach, Secrets Of The Moon …) and mastered by none other than double Grammy-Award-winner Darcy Proper at Galaxy-Studios (Manowar, Rammstein …) to assure an outstanding high-class sound-quality.
The album of the luxemburgish visionaires clocks about 55 minutes and comprises 11 tracks of eclectic metal art.
2 full-length tracks (“Mens Insana In Corpore Insano” and “The Healing Process”) are available for download both on the homepage of MADDENING MEDIA and on the one of LE GRAND GUIGNOL.
A high-definition video-clip to the song “Madness And Her Thousand Young”, taken from the same album, is currently in post-production and will be revealed soon.
“The Great Maddening” will be officially released in spring 2007, the exact release-date will be proclaimed soon.
Furthermore, MADDENING MEDIA has announced the future cooperation with the dutch post black metal band ORDO DRACONIS as well as with the dutch symphonic black metal band CARACH ANGREN.
Carach Angren Working On Next Demo
Dutch black metal band Carach Angren are working on their next demo, to be released later this year. On the band's website one preview can be found with the title "'The Ghost of Raynham Hall". You can download the track here.
