Destroyer 666 has issued the following statement about the band's upcoming tour dates with Watain:
"Werewolves, Whisky n Watain. Just a few nights til the hunt begins my friends. The band will have copies of the now sold out 7" available to sell on tour. We are putting a one 7" per person limit on it, due to the amount of CUNTS out there who like to buy things dirt cheap and then flog them online for stupid amounts of money. Go back to selling stamps you faggots. We will also have copies of 'To the Devil his Due' LP Tour edition (Red marble vinyl). Same story as above. Breathe deep, eyes straight ahead."

Destroyer 666 has checked in with the following recap of the band's recent tour dates:
"Said and Done. What to say now, back home, battered, bruised and stewed. The tail end of the tour was just fucking incredible. Great crowds wherever we landed. I think Montreal must get special mention, I know there were a bunch of Quebeccans there too, but one hell of a fucking crowd. For me personally one of the best Ive ever experienced. And yet another special thanks to the owner there, she treated us very well indeed, and was most patient with my repeated drunken disregard for rules n regulations. Again sorry mate. Your a bloody champ.
"We again got to work with our good friend Jon for a show in Rhode Island which, as last year did not disappoint at all. Cheers Jon. NYC, well, this pack have always been good to us, and being the final show of the tour it was a fitting end. Mad, Loud and wild wolves one n all. I'd like to give special thanks to the woman who set that up for us and looked after us so well. I've forgotten ya name sorry mate.
"Our friend Tomas took us out for an after party the end of which I have no recollection of. My apologies to anyone unfortunate enough to have born the brunt of what apparently was horrible ending in fire. This tour was undoubtedly our best in terms of the support of the die-hard fans. It was also a great learning curve in terms of what to expect form the so called professionals who milk the scene for their own profit and treat bands like shit. But more on that later. More...

K.K. Warslut of Destroyer 666 has checked in with the following statement thanking fans for coming out on the band's current tour, which experienced canceled shows at the beginning of the run:
"The tour so far: well never has so much been fucked up so few JFKK. But, apart from the logistical nightmare that has been this tour, on behalf of the band I feel obliged to thank all the wild wolves that have come out and made this so fucking intense every single night. We are truly humbled by the support shown to the band. Fucking amazing. Keep it up, keep it hard...Fuck the World."
Destroyer 666 has issued the following statement about being forced to cancel shows at the beginning of the band's current tour:
"Well, things are on track again, and the missed shows have been rebooked for the end of the tour as far as I know. Best check your local promoter as I've come to believe nothing and no one on this tour. Sadly, and I guess predictably, the gossiping retards that infest this planet have come to their own deranged ideas as to why we could not play.
"Its infuriating, but eventually laughable at just how gullible and stupid people can be. The truth of the matter is our driver who was supposed to turn up at 10am turned up at midnight. Plain, simple, mundane and,yes very annoying. Totally beyond our control. The first few days of this tour were some of the most agonizingly mismanaged Ive ever had the misfortune to be forced to be put thru.
"We've all been to shows that have been canceled, and its not great. Not as bad as a loved one getting gang raped by 13 Dobbermans, but not great no. And believe me, much worse for us. The amount of money we had to pay for this clusterfuck of a tour goes into the 1000s of EUROS. So our condolences to those who lost some petty cash and those who traveled some distance for the show. But there was simply nothing we could do about it. More...

There are no plans as far I know to reschedule the Jaxx show in Washington. "Australian Defiance tour. Well it all ended some days ago, and it was worth the all the heat and early morning flights. Some killer crowds, some killer times. To finish up in Sydney and Melbourne was indeed a fitting end to the first half of the World Defiance Tour. We have discussed making our next trip down under a lot less than 6 years between. It is too long we know, but is dependent on many factors, many beyond our control. For those who still want shirts, we have Australian and AntiChrist shirts (back side with tour dates) and Girlys (back side with tour dates) available at Smoke Dreams on Flinders Street Melbourne and through Apocalyptor Records."

The Noctis III Metal Festival in Calgary, Alta. is ready to unleash a two-day extravaganza of high-octane metal, and Canada’s first ever metal conference.
The conference impacts the city Oct. 2, with a host of internationally acclaimed guest speakers and panelists, including former Megadeth founder and bassist David Ellefson, world-renowned music journalist Martin Popoff, Paul Masvidal of Cynic, David Gold from Ontario Canada’s doom outfit Woods of Ypres and Megawatt Mayhem co-hosts JP Wood and Kevin Woron.
Some of the scheduled topics cover what it takes to get signed these days, tips on landing tours, how to get endorsements and distribution deals, how to promote your band, DIY recording, metal concert photography, and the future of metal journalism.
Following the conference is an 18+ club night showcase at one of Calgary’s premier metal venues, The Distillery, where headliners Novembers Doom, Slough Feg and Ares Kingdom will be sharing the stage with local acts Kilyakai, Norrath, Truck and Tosca, starting at 7:30 p.m.
The two-stage main festival on Oct. 3 takes place at the University of Calgary. Cynic, Suffocation, Destroyer 666 and Aura Noir are among the acts scheduled to brutalize MacEwan Hall, while just a few strides away at The Den, Edmonton’s Death Toll Rising tears things up with A Bloodshed Nightmare from Siksika Nation, and Calgary’s Sacred Ally, Akakor, HROM and Fornication.
“(It’s) another show in Canada, which tend to be great shows for us, and the promoters having a keen interest in us and what we do,” enthuses Cynic's Masvidal. “They asked us if we’d like to speak and discuss songwriting and our creative process, and I was completely open to that. I thought it’d be interesting, and just being part of a collective seems cool. One of our managers is gonna be there, the head of our label is gonna be there, so it’s kind of a team effort.”
More info on the event, including complete list of bands and guest speakers, can be found online at www.noctisvalkyries.com.
