xBishopx Prepares New Album

Floridian hardcore band xBishopx has nearly completed the writing process for their second full-length, titled "Drugs." The band, who released their debut with Ferret Music, is currently shopping labels to release the new album. Meanwhile, the group will put out a 7" with Dead Truth Recordings directly following the release of "Drugs."

xBishopx, Barriers Now Bridges Booking Tour

xBishopx will be embarking on a full U.S. tour with support from Barriers Now Bridges in early 2007. Most of the dates are still open and you can contact them at their MySpace with any booking offers. Earth Crisis To Reunite For Festival in January

Seminal Syracuse, NY straight edge hardcore band Earth Crisis will reportedly play a reunion show in January, their first show since performing at Hellfest in 2001. The band has not yet officially confirmed the reunion, but Earth Crisis is on the bill for the 2nd annual Maryland Metal & Hardcore Festival in Baltimore. The show will take place on January 27th at Sonar. Doors open at 1pm and tickets (which go on sale on October 18th) are $30 in advance. Here's the line-up:

xBishopx Ready Debut Album For Jan Release

xBishopx are readying their debut album "Suicide Party" for a January 10th release through Ferret Music. The band, featuring members of a number of South FL Hardcore bands, came together as an outlet for fun, sincere Hardcore. "Suicide Party" was recorded by Jonathan Nunez at Southern Noise Studios Sept 2005 in Miami, FL. It's fast, heavy, no filler Hardcore - in their own words - "formed for sheer fun and for the love of hardcore, crucial head-walks, stage dives, sing alongs,..."

xBishopx Sign with Ferret Music

xBishopx, featuring Remembering Never vocalist Mean Pete and formerly known as xDiary of a Corpsex, have reportedly signed with Ferret Music. No official word on the matter has been released. Regardless, this past weekend the band entered Southern Noise Studio (Kids Like Us, Torche) in Florida to begin recording their debut full-length. Titled "Suicide Party," the effort will hit stores in early-2006.
