Rock Band Network Gets More Metal Tracks

This coming weekend's lineup of new tracks added to the Xbox 360 edition of the Rock Band Network features a more well-rounded group of metal songs than in recent weeks.

Amberian Dawn of course continues to add more music (with the band even being named RBN artist of the month), with additional tracks appearing from Asking Alexandria, Bring Me The Horizon, Devin Towsend, Graveyard BBQ, and Suicide Silence.

Cannibal Corpse Announces Latin American Tour

Cannibal Corpse will once again be returning to Latin America and this time the band will be bringing along label mates The Black Dahlia Murder as well as Suicide Silence to Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador and Venezuela in December. The tour will begin on December 3rd in Sao Paulo, Brazil and will wrap up on December 13th in Mexico City, Mexico.

Cannibal Corpse vocalist George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher comments on the tour: "In every interview, I am asked where the sickest and best death metal fans are and it is hands down South America. I've seen kids in the front row bleeding and losing their minds, they are all crazy in the best way possible. It's hands down my favorite place to play and I can't wait to come back!"

The Black Dahlia Murder vocalist Trevor Strnad adds, "We are very excited to be a part of this monstrous South American tour. It is always a pleasure to play alongside the almighty Cannibal Corpse... but in South America?! The shows are going to be absolutely insane, without a doubt. To the South American fans: prepare for an unearthly ritual!"

Guitarist Brian Eschbach comments further, "We are extremely excited for another chance to support the almighty Cannibal Corpse!!! It has always been great touring with them. We especially look forward to seeing them DESTROY South America and Mexico City. iViva la Smash!"

Suicide Silence Appears In Metal Injection Video

Two members of Suicide Silence, vocalist Mitch Lucker and lead guitarist Mark Heylmun sat in for the entire duration of the most recent Metal Injection Livecast. The band revealed some info on the new album, "The Black Crown," including why the group chose to work with producer Steve Evetts, and that there will be an exclusive Rob Zombie cover on certain editions of the album. The music breaks include three tracks from the new album, "You Only Live Once", "Human Violence" and the first listen to the studio recording of "Fuck Everything." Suicide Silence Names New Album

Suicide Silence is currently mixing with Zeuss (Chimaira, Hatebreed) after completing album recordings with producer Steve Evetts (Dillinger Escape Plan) on the band's third full-length offering. Suicide Silence has also announced the album's title as "The Black Crown."

Working titles for the album included "Fuck Everything," "Human Violence," and "Cancerous Skies." You can also hear guitarist Mark Heylmun discuss "The Black Crown" on this week's edition of Metal Injection's Livecast in the player below.
