Suicide Silence are offering a brilliant once in a lifetime experience for fans interested in doing physical labour for their favourite band. The band have shared their "Roadie for a Day" package via Twitter, which includes the following "extraordinary perks":

For a one time fee of $150 you can:

1. Work alongside the crew — who presumably brings tons of gear into the venue and sets up the stage for the band every day on tour.
2. Stand side-stage during Suicide Silence’s show — for optimal sound quality.
3. An exclusive Suicrew t-shirt that says “get the fuck out of my way” on the back of it.
4. A laminated piece of paper that shows everyone you were a roadie for a day.
5. Food with the crew — meaning you get a lunch break while working for the band, as recommended by the US Department of Labor.
6. You get to “mingle with the band” during soundcheck.

Suicide Silence Announces "The Cleansing" Tour

One of the most prolific albums in the history of the deathcore genre is easily Suicide Silence's debut offering, "The Cleansing," originally released on September 18th, 2007 and debuting at #94 on the Billboard Top 200 charts.

Suicide Silence will officially commemorate the album's special 10 year anniversary release by embarking on a lengthy North America tour performing the album is its entirety every night. This touring package will feature Upon A Burning Body, Winds of Plague (on select dates), Slaughter To Prevail, and Prison. It kicks off November 7th in Oakland and wraps up December 17th in Hollywood, CA.

Mark Heylmun (guitars) states: "10 fucking years!! 'The Cleansing' was a record we wrote when most of us were in our early 20’s. I was in my teens still! My has the time flown by. All we knew back then was we wanted to offend ppl and piss in the face of the mainstream (Dying Fetus pun intended). We've wanted to do a commemorative tour for this record for years now and the time has come. 'The Cleansing' broke us into the metal world and the record came from a very special place, a fresh place, a place that words fail when I try to describe it, and without it...well we wouldn't be here attempting to describe it.

"Mitch had a vision for this record, he wanted to set a standard for our scene and in my eyes he created much much more. Since his passing, Eddie has payed homage to Mitch's vox on this record every night. It’s something very close to our hearts to have Eddie singing these songs with us. Mitch and Eddie inspired each other, exchanged vocal tips, and both have the passion for the most brutal sounds you can humanly make and it's going to be an amazing show for us and for you. Emotions will be high, maybe we will be high too, you don't want to miss this. Let's fucking party! Come celebrate with us cuz this will only happen once!" More...

Eddie Hermida Says TAIM’s CJ McMahon Is A Sellout

Speaking with live-metal.net, Suicide Silence’s frontman Eddie Hermida opens up on the "feud" with Thy Art Is Murder that recently sparked off online. Hermida in particlar criticized Thy Art Is Murder for being stuck in a deathcore rut and spoofing U.S. President Donald Trump‘s campaign hats with TAIM's new "Make Deathcore Great Again"-hats.

Offers Hermida: "Thy Art Is Murder absolutely saw an opportunity and ran with it, and honestly, they did the silliest thing you could ever do in mimicking somebody like Trump and say that they are not selling out. They are literally going, “Hey, we’re not sell-outs, but please buy this hat. You need to buy this hat.” It’s completely backwards thinking. They’re looking for their fans to feed into the chaos. They’re looking for the attention, and that’s fine. It goes exactly with what I said—we don’t need that kind of attention anymore. I praise them for jumping on an opportunity just like they should. When you’re desperate for making money, you’re going to serve the fans, you’re going to create the same music so that they can feel safe in their sound, and you’re going to try your hardest to maintain in that world. Suicide Silence Releases New Video

Suicide Silence today releases a new conceptual music video for “Dying In A Red Room.” The track comes off the band’s freshly unveiledself-titled offering, which as of today is available everywhere on Nuclear Blast Entertainment.

Eddie Hermida (vocals) states: “The way 'Dying In A Red Room’ came about was simply being on tour in the back lounge one crazy night and that riff was spewed out and stuck. We started jamming it and that song was done quick and natural. We wanted that song to be very fluid.

"The song is meant to be a love song to the ghosts we carry around with us. To never be afraid to be yourself or listen to your heart. In a way that is always what this band has wanted to represent. Fearlessness.”

Also, don’t miss Suicide Silence's remaining very intimate in-store signings at these upcoming dates and locations:

Today new track “Silence” can also be streamed below. All photos in this clip were shot by Randy Blythe (Lamb of God vocalist) and Blythe’s photography is also featured in-depth across the band’s new album layout.

Eddie Hermida (vocals) states: “The new track, ‘Silence,' is about asking yourself what reality is. It is about being in your own thoughts and allowing that hell to be a part of you. To realize that when we are quiet and in our own darkness, we can truly be grateful to be alive. The song challenges people to be within themselves. To see that hell on earth has no fury compared to our own mind, so why not accept that and love everything on the outside. It is there to serve a purpose. To free you from yourself. Be silent today and just listen!” More...
