Divinity Announces Canadian Tour Dates
Canada’s DIVINITY has announced their first live performances to support their new album, "The Singularity," which will be released on August 10th via Candlelight Records. The shows are scheduled pre-release with additional dates in September with full touring planned for October.
Guitarist Sacha Laskow comments, "We are stoked to cross this great, giant country once again to promote the new album release and be a part of some sick shows with some of the best metal bands in the world. We are also so glad to finally have our new album out and available everywhere, so make sure and pick it up August 10th. We spent a year locked in the studio perfecting the album and are extremely proud with the results. Beneath the Massacre Reveals New EP Title
Montreal, Canada's Beneath the Massacre have revealed the title for their upcoming EP. The title of the EP, which was produced by Chris Donaldson and mastered by Alan Douches, has been set as "Marée Noire." "Marée Noire" translated means "Oil Slick."
"Marée Noire" is set for release in North America on September 14th, 2010 through Galy/Prosthetic Records.
Beneath the Massacre Plans New EP
Montreal technical death metal act Beneath the Massacre have announced details regarding the band's, as yet untitled, upcoming EP.
Vocalist Elliot Desgagnes commented on the 5 track EP:
"It’s going to be two years since our last album and we had the idea of a short release while we keep writing for the next full length. We picked five songs to go on the EP and I feel like these are by far the best songs we’ve ever written. Nothing that different from our other releases but we’re always getting a little closer to the sound we want. So we’re all satisfied with the result and are looking forward to share it."
Line-Up Announced For SWR Festival
Ireland's Mourning Beloveth are the latest act to be confirmed for Portugal's SWR festival, which takes place from April 30th to May 2nd, 2010. Dying Fetus Posts In-Studio Footage
DYING FETUS has posted additional in-studio footage taped during the "Descend Into Depravity" recording session online now. "Descend Into Depravity," DYING FETUS’ seventh studio recording, was recorded at Wright Way Studios in Baltimore, MD with producer Steve Wright.
DYING FETUS is about to embark on “The Planetary Depravity Tour” next week with THE FACELESS. This co-headlining US tour will kick-off on November 17th in Salt Lake City, UT and also include BENEATH THE MASSACRE, VITAL REMAINS and more on select dates. "Descend Into Depravity" saw its international release in late September and is currently streaming in its entirety at DescendIntoDepravity.info. The album debuted at #166 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart and at #4 on the Heatseekers Chart.
DYING FETUS recently premiered the first video from "Descend Into Depravity," for the track “Shepherd’s Commandment”, online here. The “Shepherd’s Commandment” video was lensed in New York with director Kevin Custer (HATEBREED, TESTAMENT, SOULJA BOY, KINGDOM OF SORROW).

Colorado extreme metallers ENEMY REIGN were recently added to the illustrious Neurotic Deathfest 2010 lineup! The Neurotic Deathfest is Europe's premier indoor death metal event. Originally known as the Rotterdam Deathfest (2004 and 2005), the organizers changed the name to Neurotic Deathfest in 2006 when they decided to move the festivities to a new venue and city.

Beneath The Massacre Gearing Up For Tour
Beneath the Massacre has issued the following statement about preparing for their upcoming North American tour alongside The Faceless and Dying Fetus:
"We are pleased to announce the dates of our next american tour with The Faceless, Dying fetus, Annotations of an Autopsy & Enfold Darkness. The Planetary Depravity Tour will hit the US and a few Canadian dates (Toronto, Montreal & Quebec City) from November 20th to december 15th. We invite everyone to come to what should be an awesome tour with tons of talents and enough groove to dislocate your neck. It might as well be the last tour in US territory for us in a while. We started to write material that should be released in 2010 on Prosthetic records. More details on this release should be announced soon.

Beneath The Massacre Announces Headline Show
Beneath the Massacre has issued the following announcement about a headlining show in Montreal:
"We will be playing in Montreal on Sunday October 4th at the Underworld as part of Montreal Pop Festival with support from For Today, Vatican, As They Turn From Praise, End of Crisis and Curse of the Slain.
"It will be our first MTL headline show in two years and The Underworld is a relatively small venue so it will definitely be a more intimate concert than what we’ve been doing lately. We want all BTM fans to come to the show and have a blast with us."
Beneath the Massacre will will also be playing at the Sudbury Metal Feast on October 2nd in Sudbury, Ontario.
Disavowed Cancels Mountains Of Death Appearance
The Mountains of Death Festival will take place on August 21st and 22nd in Muotathal, Schwyz, Switzerland. The organizers of the event issued the following update about Disavowed canceling their appearance:
"Disavowed has to cancel all planned shows until further notice as they are - to their own surprise - once more without drummer! But we stay tuned and it will certainly work out next time.

The Summer Slaughter Fest is correctly named. When the tour arrives in your town, prepare for a bloodbath of immense proportions. Decibel, Affliction and Fangoria bring you a huge tour consisting of Blackguard, Decrepit Birth, After the Burial, Beneath the Massacre, Origin, Born of Osiris, Dying Fetus, Winds of Plague, Darkest Hour, Ensiferum, Suffocation, and Necrophagist with Behemoth joining the show on some dates. Impressed? Did I also mention that the ticket prices are extremely affordable to fit into your budget during this economic downturn? That’s a deal you can’t beat. So if you’re lucky enough to have a Slaughter in your town this summer, I suggest you don’t miss it.
In the sweltering, higher-than-average heat of New Orleans, the Summer Slaughter Tour stops to do a little killing. It wasn’t an official stop, but I would like to thank all of the bands for taking their day off to rock our town. The madness began at three o’clock. All of the bands kicked ass for about half an hour each. Blackgaurd, After the Burial, Origin, Beneath the Massacre and Darkest Hour were all incredible. Their merchandise was also very interesting, but with so many bands, I couldn’t afford it all. Music was blaring from the small tunnel-shaped hall that could be heard blocks away. Band members, roadies and helpful fans were constantly moving equipment in and out to accommodate the large number of bands. Yes, it was a bit hectic. Bands Announced For Summer Slaughter 2009
This year's edition of the Summer Slaughter tour will be headlined by death metal legends Necrophagist and will also feature fellow death metal favourites Suffocation, along with Darkest Hour, Dying Fetus, Origin, Born Of Osiris, After The Burial and Winds Of Plague. Beneath The Massacre and Decrepit Birth will also be performing on the first half of the tour, with Ensiferum and Blackguard replacing them afterwards. Stay tuned for details.
