Lineup Announced For Walpurgis Metal Days

The 11th edition of Germany's Walpurgis Metal Days festival is set to take place from May 6th - 7th, 2011 at the Festplatz in Hauzenberg, Germany. For further information on the festival visit this location. The currently announced lineup for the festival is as follows:

Roadkill Announce More Tour Dates

After the succesfull tour in December as support from Vengeance, ROADKILL is ready for the second leg of their promotion-tour to support the "Dark Side" EP.

February kicks off on the 15th with the "Metal Battle Zuid Holland" in the Baroeg, Rotterdam. ROADKILL has been selected to participate in this great national contest. This show is followed by a series of shows with VENGEANCE yet again.

ROADKILL have also announced two shows with the American guitar hero JOE STUMP in Harderwijk and Nieuw - Vossemeer.

During this February/March leg of the tour, ROADKILL will play classics from their earlier albums, songs from the new EP "Dark Side," but also brand new songs which are not recorded yet and never been played live.

Vengeance Celebrates 25th Anniversary

VENGEANCE is about to kick off a fantastic year in the huge career of the band. The Dutch hard rock band will celebrate their 25th Anniversary and will do this together with their fans. Their new live CD "Same/Same...But Different “ will be launched at November 23 through Metal Heaven and will be followed with the official kick-off of the “25th Anniversary Tour “ in the Rockfabrik in Ludwigsburg, Germany on December 4, 2007.

The Official Live CD Presentation will take place on December 12, 2007 in 013, Tilburg ( Holland ) with an incredible live show. The fans can expect an unique year filled with an amazing amount of live shows, special events and activities and on top of that the release of the new studio- album.

Roadkill To Release New Album In November

Australian hard rockers, ROADKILL will release their debut album, "God Bless America", on November 9. The 12-song CD was recorded at Izaneer Studios in Hobart (Tasmania) between July and September and was engineered, mixed and co-produced by Brett Collidge

ROADKILL features veteran TYRANT screamer Neil Steel alongside his brother Zig (guitar), Sheppo (bass) and Keef Kenny (drums).

Roadkill Release New EP

Australian hard rockers ROADKILL (TYRANT vocalist Neil Steel's side project) have just released a three-track demo EP titled "More to Come", which is currently only available at the band's shows. "More to Come" features the songs "Get Outta My Way", "Hollywood" and "King Hit", all of which can be heard at ROADKILL's MySpace page.

ROADKILL's as-yet-untitled debut album will be released late August.

Roadkill Singer Dies Of Cancer

Singer Marco Hendriks of the Dutch heavy metal band ROADKILL passed away on August 16 at age 36. Hendriks was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.

ROADKILL's debut album, "Merlin", was released in early 2005. The group had previously contributed to several compilations in addition to issuing an EP, "Pyramid", in 2001.
