The Obscene Extreme America mosh pit just keeps getting bigger and bigger. The festival takes place in Montreal, QC from August 20th - 23rd, with the organizers issuing this statement about new confirmations:
"Fatal Flaw - Don’t get fooled by the band name! The only weakness these Montreal crustcore lunatics have is not being able to control the anger & ferocity that goes through their music. Raging crust punk is what you’ll get at OEF America and the only flaw possible is the lack of people in the mosh pit. Don’t make this happen, get your ass in the pit or you will feel the wrath of Fatal Flaw!
"The Drip - They're pissed off & ready to unleash the most barbaric grindcore the east-coast have ever witnessed. Washington State's The Drip deliver merciless fast-paced grind in a non stop onslaught of aggression & intensity. Get ready for a presentation of gruesome poetics while this modern grindcore band spread chaos through their blasting & unhealthy tunes.
"Noisem - Baltimore's Noisem will blast their vicious tunes in such a destructive velocity, it will feel like someone's shredding your fucking face with a cheesegrater. Formerly known as Necropsy, this young band's playing abrasive death metal at a lightning speed, destroying everything in its path. Be apart of the bestial birth of Noisem at OEF!!!
"Homewrecker - Things are going to get ugly at OEF America as Ohio's Homewrecker are back in Montreal with their grinding hardcore harmonies. They will show no mercy as they pummel your face with heavy as hell guitar riffs, punishing vocals & blistering fast drums!"

"Ghostmaker," the third full-length from Philly's adrenalized death/thrash quartet Rumpelstiltskin Grinder, is out now in North America via Candlelight Records.
The mob at MetalSucks, who are obviously big fans of the hard-partying Rumpelstiltskin Grinder ethos, are streaming all twelve neck-wrecking tracks from "Ghostmaker" for a limited time. Get blasted right here. The band's publicist also commented on the album:
"With more than forty-five minutes of nonstop soul-crushing thunder, Ghostmaker shows the outfit at their most antagonistic yet, while also showcasing the most talented musical prowess from RSG to date.
"Now in their tenth year as a unit, Rumpelstiltskin Grinder currently contains members of Absu, Woe, Azure Emote, Ashencult, Fucked Forever, Total Fucking Destruction, Smoker & the Rollers and more. 'Ghostmaker' was produced by the members of the band and bears cover art by gore artist Mike Hrubovcak (Sinister, Grave, Hate Eternal, Cattle Decapitation, etc.) as with several of the band's previous releases."
Philadelphia's Rumpelstiltskin Grinder is preparing to unload "Ghostmaker," the band's belligerent third album, and first for Candlelight Records, onto North American 'bangers on June 19th. Today the title track to "Ghostmaker" has been set loose upon the masses via Rumpelstiltskin Grinder's diehard neighbors at Stereokiller right here.
The following press release was also issued about the band:
"Formed by current members of Absu, Woe, Azure Emote, Ashencult, Fucked Forever, Total Fucking Destruction, Smoker & the Rollers and more, Rumpelstiltskin Grinder's hard-partying death-thrash surges with more intensity than ever on Ghostmaker, resulting in a maniacal forty-five minute whirlwind that will surely require neck braces for unseasoned and weak metallers. The album was produced by the band and bears cover art by gore artist Mike Hrubovcak (Sinister, Grave, Hate Eternal, Cattle Decapitation, etc.) as with several of the band's previous releases.
"Just days before the album is officially in stores across the continent, Rumpelstiltskin Grinder has confirmed a hometown release show for Ghostmaker at Philly's M Room on June 15th alongside an arsenal of additional riotous acts."

The inclusion of an early production mix of Rumpelstiltskin Grinder's “Fucking Wild” follows the recent announcement of the band’s forthcoming new album, "Ghostmaker." The Philadelphia-based quartet recently completed a string of regional performances and are now gearing up for dates to support the new album once it hits stores nationwide on June 19th. Guitarist Ryan Moll says, "the title of this track says it all. It’s a rather suiting description of its relentlessness. The lyrics were written by Shawn (Riley) and the title was inspired by some old live Venom recordings."
Candlelight Records today confirms June 19th as the North American release date for "Ghostmaker," the new album from Rumpelstiltskin Grinder. Produced by the band, "Ghostmaker" is the third album from the Philadelphia quartet and reunites the band with noted gore artist Mike Hrubovcak (Sinister, Hate Eternal, Cattle Decapitation).
Commenting on the album, vocalist/bassist Shawn Riley says, “Ghostmaker represents everything we have worked towards for the past several years. When the album drops it will be obvious that this is something created by four dudes thirsty for blood, eager to silence all the critics, and to crush all the lames.”
Guitarist Ryan Moll notes, "This album is our fastest, darkest, and most relentless album yet. It will contain some of the most bone-crushing, graveyard stomping, Frankenstein/Dracula/Wolfman hate-fuck riffage written thus far.”
Guitarist Matt Moore adds, “Each song has its own distinct and strange aura of speed, darkness, brute strength, violence, cunning, and power. We have raised the bar and taken on musical and lyrical concepts that would drive commoners insane.” More...

Candlelight Records today confirms the worldwide signing of thrash act Rumpelstiltskin Grinder. The Philadelphia-based band is already working on a new album, titled "Ghostmaker," expected for release early spring 2012. The four-piece tested some of the new material via a string of regional shows this past weekend and expect to tour in support of the album once its released.
Guitarist Ryan Moll comments, “We are psyched to be on Candlelight.” Sharing details about the ongoing recording he notes, “Right now we are in the studio working on our third and most intense release to date. It will contain some of the most bone-crushing, graveyard stomping, Frankenstein/Dracula/Wolfman hate-fuck riffage written thus far.”
Guitarist Matt Moore adds, “Our wretched new masterpiece will be finished soon enough.
