Below is our complete Hearse news coverage, including columns and articles pertaining to the band. Some articles listed may be indirectly related, such as side projects of the band members, etc.

Hearse has signed a two-record deal with Vic Records. The new album will be recorded this summer and mixed, mastered by Dan Swanö for a tentative release of early 2009.
Also planned is the very first Hearse music video ever, created by Owe Lingvall of Village Raod Film, the Nocturnal Rites drummer who is responsible for video's of Memory Garden, Steel Attack, Wolf, Nocturnal Rites etc.
Hearse drummer Max commented on the signing:
"Alrighty! Hearse just signed a new record deal with Vic Records! It feels just great! Vic's a cool label and there's a lot of cool bands on the label. Getting mails from the label boss saying things like 'I am having a total Hearse trip these days! Really! Only listening to your albums.....These bonus tracks on the Cambodia album are sooooooooo damn good!!!!!,' doesn..t really make it feel like a bad decision either!"
As previously reported, the band has begun the recording of their fifth album. They plan to record 12 songs and most likely use 10 of them on the final album.
Swedish melodic death metallers, Hearse, have issued the following update:
"The band has begun the recording of the fifth album. So far the drums has been recorded. 12 songs are planned to be recorded and most likely 10 of them will end up on the album. As soon as we get green light from our record label (depending on which one it´ll be) the recording will continue."
"More info on the recording to follow. In the meantime check out some pics from the recording here."
Swedish "death 'n' roll" band HEARSE, featuring former ARCH ENEMY singer Johan Liiva, have inked a deal with Cold Records. The group recently issued their third album, "The Last Ordeal", through Holland's Karmageddon Media.
Formed by longtime friends Max Thornell (drums) and Liiva, HEARSE recorded a demo before signing with Hammerheart Records. The band released a limited-edition 7-inch single, entitled "Torch", prior to issuing their debut album, "Dominion Reptillian", in 2003. A follow-up effort, "Armageddon Mon Amour", came out in 2004.
The Swedish band Hearse recently finished the recordings of their 3rd album "The Last Ordeal" and it’s the follow up to their successful album "Armageddon Mon Amour" (2004). "The Last Ordeal" was recorded & mixed at The White Chapel Studios in Stockholm (Sweden) by Jonas Edler. The album is scheduled for a summer 2005 release through Karmageddon Media.
In an official statement drummer Max Thornell has the following to say about the new Hearse album:
So we finally stand here with the recording that’ll be the third Hearse album. This time we really came out with a sound very close to what we wanted. It’s natural and organic, heavy and rough, no bleep blop trigger drums or other polished sounds. Just pure and natural ! As usual there’s a lot of groove, riffing, ripping solos and rough vocals, but this time I guess that mine and Johan´s hardcore/punk background is a bit more obvious than before. There was a lot of reviewers that referred to Entombed and Motörhead when our last album was released. Those comments will most likely not be less numerous this time so to speak. Ok, we’re up for another rock´n roll adventure in death metal land.

Candlelight Records confirms April 6 as the US release date for the new album from Sweden's Hearse. Titled 'Armageddon Mon Amour', it is the second full-length album from the growing melodic metal band.
Recorded at Basement Audio System in Stockholm, Armageddon Mon Amour showcases the band's refreshing hybrid of musical styles - an embodiment of melodic death, classic metal and showing hints of a groovier, if one could say, stoner influence. Drummer Max Thornell says of the recording, "the aim was to have a natural, rough and heavy recording. The cooperation between us and engineer Jonas Edler worked out with the recording coming out quite close to plan." Continuing, "what can fans expect? Look for a round of rock n' roll adventures in death metal with ripping solos, licks and tricks. And on top of it all, Johan Liiva's voice."
Track listing for Armageddom Mon Amour: Mountain of the Solar Eclipse, Turncoat, Crops of Waste, In Love and War, Ticket to Devastation, Tools, Cambodia, Sodi, Play Without Rules, Determination, Armageddon Mon Amour.
