Wacken Open Air Festival organizers have just confirmed acts for next year's W:O:A, set to take place August 3rd to 5th in Wacken Germany. Bands confirmed so far are Children of Bodom, Die Apokalyptischen Reiter, In Extremo, Soilwork and Subway to Sally.
German weirdo metallers Die Apokalyptischen Reiter have shot a clip for the song "Die Sonne scheint," taken from their album "Samurai" (2004).

The band also announced that there will be a new record – in 400 days.
When Die Apokalyptischen Reiter, Germany's craziest metal bunch, played at the With Full Force festival at the beginning of July, they sent some special "Get well soon!" greetings to Motorhead frontman Lemmy, who had to be taken to the hospital before the same weekend.
Here's what they did: Die Apokalyptischen Reiter counted "1-2-3-Cuddle!" – and 15,000 fans hugged the life out of each other! The original "Wall Of Love," especially for one of Rock'n'Roll's greatest!

Germany's Die Apokalyptischen Reiter shot a video clip for the track "Die Sonne scheint" (= "The sun shines"), taken from the current album "Samurai." It will be offered to the TV stations at the end of June, so stay tuned.

2005 is here and the upcoming tour with Die Apokalyptischen Reiter is drawing closer. A new accordion player has been found and our lineup completed. We will travel down with eight members including the mentioned accordeon player and live violin. We hope to see as many of you as possible joining us for the thirty parties ahead.
Two more gigs have been added (without DAR): we're starting out our campaign at Nosturi/Helsinki on Friday 04.02.2005 accompanied by Ensiferum and Soulgrind, and taking part in one more fight at Underworld/London 20.03.2005 before sailing back home. See you there!!!

Norwegian metal band Tristania are the latest act confirmed for the 2005 edition of the Summer Breeze festival, set to be held August 18-20 in Abtsgmünd, Germany. Also set to appear at the festival are Impious, Krisiun, The Vision Bleak, Suidakra, Ektomorf, Amon Amarth, Maroon, Symphorce, Born From Pain, Endstille, Lacrimas Profundere, Die Apokalyptischen Reiter, End of Green, Atrocity, Haggard, Final Breath, God Dethroned, Subway to Sally and The Bones. More confirmations will be announced during the coming days.
Tristania will support Nightwish on a 10-date run through the U.K., Belgium and Germany beginning in mid-February. A South American tour with Dark Tranquillity and Kreator will follow in March.
Tristania's new album, "Ashes", is scheduled for release on January 24, 2005 through SPV Records.

Wacken Open Air is a yearly metal festival held in the small farming town of Wacken, Germany.The festival started out 14 years ago and has now amassed an attendance up to 35,000 people and is the largest metal gathering in Europe. Crash Music is proud to release the live concert two DVD set.

The lunacy goes on! Die Apokalyptischen Reiter announce their fifth studio album. In July and August, “Samurai“ was shaped in the Danish Ant-Farm studios. The Reiter promise another devil's ride breaking all conventions. 13 brand new songs will ring out. The first limited edition will appear additionally with a free bonus-DVD. On time of the release the 1st of November 2004, the band will present their new video, which will be shot directly after the recordings. Subsequent to the release, the Reiters will play some live shows. In spring 2005, the next headliner tour is planned. The very curious of you the PopKomm showcase is recommended. There, the samurai will hit the first time.
Die Apokalyptischen Reiter will work on several projects simultaneously in 2004. Besides entering the studio in summer/autumn 2004 for the fifth Reiter album the band also plans to produce a video clip in late summer and considers to finish their first DVD.
