Tennessee's Across Five Aprils will enter the studio later this month to record their Victory Records debut. The group will be recording with Matt Goldman (Underoath, As Cities Burn) at Glow In The Dark Studios in Atlanta, GA and the effort should be available in late-winter.

Across Five Aprils Working On Second Full-Length

Across Five Aprils recently re-signed with Indianola Records and are currently working on their second full-length. The band will enter Earthsound Studios in February to record the as-of-yet untitled effort. Meanwhile, Indianola will re-issue the band's debut "A Tragedy In Progress" on March 14th. The re-issue will feature new artwork, additional live tracks, and several enhanced disc features. Finally, Across Five Aprils and Glory Of This will be touring together beginning late this month. Darkest Hour Confirmed For Gator's Aftermath

DARKEST HOUR and TURMOIL are among the bands that have been confirmed for Gator's Aftermath, a one-day festival set to take place Friday, July 1 at Ziggy's in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The festival billing is shaping up as follows:


Tickets are $15 in advance (etix.com) or $20 the day of the show (with the purchase of a Sounds of the Underground ticket and $25 the day of without a Sounds of the Underground ticket).

For those who are out of town and attend the Sounds of the Underground, the Dixie Classic Fairgrounds are allowing camping overnight. So you can go rock the hell out at Sounds of the Underground, get a good night's sleep, and go directly across the street to Ziggy's the next day. There will be water connections for RVs and bathrooms with showers.
