The band will then join Six Feet Under and Cattle Decapitation on The Autumn Apocalypse Tour starting November 2nd in Richmond. See a full listing of tour dates below.
Vocalist Adam Cody comments, “I am more than honored to be a part of two back to back tours with legendary bands. Chris Barnes is a death metal vocalist that has inspired me since I knew what death metal was. Cattle Decapitation is a band I never expected to be on tour with; I've always admired the creativity they bring to the grindier side of the metal world.“
Wretched is touring in support of third studio album "Son Of Perdition," released earlier this year. Cody adds, “Expect to see an entirely new set list with songs we've never played live before!” More...

This year's Summer Breeze festival will be taking place from August 16th - 18th, with full details available at the festival's website here. The organizers of Summer Breeze have now issued the following announcement about confirming new bands:
"Since the release of their amazing breakthrough album 'Inwards', Dew-Scented have been at the forefront of European thrash metal. Since then, the cool bunch led by frontman Leif Jensen have been producing fantastic albums full of unstoppable riff power and overwhelming intensity at nicely regular intervals, cementing the band's excellent reputation time and again. In 2012, Dew-Scented aim at kick-starting their career with an entirely new line-up – with the exception of band boss Leif – and the fantastic new album 'Icarus', and are gearing up to shatter the Summer Breeze Open Air into small pieces. We are stoked to welcome the indestructible machine called Dew-Scented at our festival once more. Get thrashed!
"When Agrypnie played the Summer Breeze festival in 2008 for the first and only time so far, they were booked as consolation for all those who were mourning the recent disbanding of Nocte Obducta. Four years, one studio album and one EP later, the Hessians have made a career for themselves, having now reached the same level as the aforementioned group. Their new studio album is still being recorded as we speak, but their last EP 'Asche' was already an announcement for big things to come in the realm of post black metal. Expressive, multi-faceted, melancholic, dynamic – all these attributes fit Agrypnie like a glove and are underlined by the fact that their songs don't ever become predictable or interchangable. One of the most exciting bands our scene has to offer nowadays."

Death metal tyrants Six Feet Under are currently midway through their 18 Nights Of Blood Tour. The trek kicked off in Atlanta, Georgia earlier this month and has systematically leveled nine cities. Support is being provided by Dying Fetus and Revocation.
Comments growl commander Chris Barnes: “Just wanted to give a shout-out to all the fans who've attended the 18 Nights Of Blood tour! I've been having a great time out on the road with the new band members. Both Jeff and Ola are kicking some serious ass on stage and the new songs are going over killer! Life is good!! Having Dying Fetus and Revocation on the road with us has been amazing. Total class acts and both amazing bands to share the stage with. Heading toward the West Coast to devour your souls. 18 Nights Of Blood continues…”

The Barge sets sail on December 3rd from Miami, Florida. Others bands scheduled to appear include Behemoth, Corrosion Of Conformity, Enslaved, Rotting Christ, At The Gates, Possessed and more. The Barge to Hell will sail Monday, December 3rd, 2012 from Miami, FL to Nassau, Bahamas and will not return you to the real world for five days until Friday, December 7th, 2012. The organizers of the floating festival have now issued the following announcement about confirming Corrosion of Conformity for the cruise:
"Every good old barge is corroded. But they are better, they are the Barge to Hell, The World's Most Extreme Metal Cruise and they have Corrosion of Conformity! Barge to Hell, the cruise where everyone has a backstage pass and you can mingle side-by-side with the Artists in this incredibly fan-friendly scenario that has no comparison.
"The madness begins on December 3rd, when 40 of the most extreme Metal Bands and 2,000 headbangers from around the world will go to the Caribbean to take over a luxury cruise ship for a 5 day and 4 night trip to the undead! See each of the 40 bands play two live shows on two different days."

With nationwide speculation that the zombie apocalypse is officially upon us, it would only seem appropriate for Six Feet Under's 18 Nights Of Blood Tour to commence this Friday. The near three-week run of live rituals will begin in Atlanta, Georgia and cannibalize its way across the U.S. coming to a close on the band's home turf of Tampa, Florida. Blood shall be spilled, faces eaten and brains devoured! No one is safe.
Six Feet Under will be joined by newly recruited rhythm guitarist Ola Englund who takes the place of Rob Arnold. Support will be provided by Dying Fetus and Revocation.
The band will be touring in support of "Undead," which toppled Billboard charts upon its first week of release. "Undead" was unleashed to North American ears via Metal Blade on May 22nd and offers an updated lineup of Barnes alongside guitarist Rob Arnold (ex- Chimaira), longtime guitarist Steve Swanson (ex-Massacre), bassist Jeff Hughell (ex-Brain Drill, ex-Vile), and drummer Kevin Talley (Dying Fetus, Misery Index, Chimaira). The organizers of the upcoming Summer Breeze 2012 festival have issued the following update about confirming new acts:
"Italy is not exactly a hotbed for dark doom metal. Fortunately enough, there are always exceptions to confirm the rule. With the three albums they have released so far, The Foreshadowing have provided a master class in gloom and doom. Hailing from Rome, the band prove that it is indeed possible to write great atmospheric songs without falling into excessive pathos and kitsch. Especially singer Marco Benevento's clear, ear-piercing vocals take the group's material to a level which is only populated by bands such as Katatonia, My Dying Bride, early Anathema and even Opeth. Don't miss this black pearl of darkness! You will hardly experience anything bigger, darker and more epic at Summer Breeze 2012!
"Breakdowns aren't exactly the most innovative element in metal nowadays... However, if you use them with such conviction and vehemence as Bleed From Within, even the most athletically challenged of metalheads should soon mutate into pit fighter number one. The UK band have two albums out which should appeal to fans of As I Lay Dying, Bring Me The Horizon and Parkway Drive, while at times Bleed From Within are even more melodic than the aforementioned bands, only to dive into a brutal breakdown the very next second. All fans of metalcore and deathcore should highlight this band in their personal running order, as this is the perfect stuff for all of them!"
Barge To Hell is a five-day cruise from the organizers of the 70,000 Tons of Metal cruise. It departs from Miami, Florida on Monday, December 3rd and stops at Nassau, Bahamas before returning to Miami on Friday, December 7th. Booking for the cruise has opened to the general public, so book yours today.

The organizers of the Barge to Hell have issued the following announcement about confirming Holy Moses as the latest act to play the cruise:
"Who better to lead them on their journey to the undead than the mighty Holy Moses celebrating their 30th anniversary? Not once, because as you know, they do everything twice. You heard right, twice! Here is how it goes: On December 3rd, 40 of the most extreme Metal Bands and 2,000 headbangers from around the world will go to the Caribbean to take over a luxury cruise ship for a 5 day and 4 night trip to the undead! For the entire trip it's like everyone has a backstage pass and you can mingle side-by-side with the Artists in this incredibly fan-friendly scenario that has no comparison. See each of the 40 bands play two live shows on two different days. That's 80 shows with unrestricted festival access to the three stages, each with it's own unique atmosphere:
"The luxurious 'A Chorus Line' theater where they spare no expense to have the benches removed on the floor. Because at a Metal show, who actually wants assigned seating in front of the stage?
"The cozy 'Spectrum' that gives you the real club feeling.
"And their jewel: The open air stage on the pool deck. The biggest festival stage to sail the Oceans.
"You can also get all your memorabilia signed at the Meet & Greet sessions. Be part of their infamous Metal Karaoke and many other special activities with the Artists. And last, but not least: Don't forget that they have bars on board that never close! What are you waiting for? You might even need a vacation from this vacation when all is said and done."

Death metal ministers Six Feet Under today announce the addition of rhythm guitarist Ola Englund to the their ranks. England, who will make his first official appearance with the band on the 18 Nights Of Blood Tour set to commence next month, takes the place of Rob Arnold.
Comments founding vocalist Chris Barnes of the new recruit: “Ola is an amazing guitarist and was chosen for his superlative technique and style of playing. We believe he will be the perfect complement to Steve Swanson, and the devastating rhythm section that is Talley/Hughell. Steve, Kevin, Jeff and myself are so looking forward to Ola's entrance into the band upon the release of Undead and the commencement of our first tour next month with Dying Fetus and Revocation. We can’t wait for you to witness the new killing machine that is Six Feet Under! Ola takes over duties for our good friend and death metal warrior Rob Arnold who will be retiring from touring but will remain a central writing partner and fellow collaborator on future SFU releases. We are all sad to not have Rob on the road with us, but are confidant and 110% psyched that Ola is now within the ranks of the Undead and will be ready to lay waste to every stop along the way! Hails!”
Adds Englund: "When I got the call from Chris, it felt unreal; first thing that popped up in my head was, ‘why the hell did he want me -- the total gear nerd from Sweden -- to join his awesome band? To be able to share the stage with one of the biggest icons in death metal and the other killer musicians in SFU is a complete honor and a dream come true for me. I couldn't be happier about the situation! Also the new album blew my mind the first time I heard it, it's intense as hell, but still has the riffs and the grooves that Six Feet Under swears by. Fans are going to love it! I’m looking forward to kick some serious ass together with Chris, Kevin, Steve and Jeff! See you on tour!"

Offering up 12 tracks of sonic brutality, the record was produced by Mark Lewis (Deicide, Devildriver) and mixed by Jason Suecof (Whitechapel, Job For A Cowboy), at Audio Hammer Studios in Sanford, Florida.
Commented vocalist Chris Barnes: “Creating an album is a lot of work and a lot of focus, but we didn’t really have too many hiccups in the recording. It went really smooth, and it was pretty much the most effortless album we’ve ever tracked. I had a great, great time working on this album; it was so much fun because everything seemed so new again.” More...
Today Bloody Disgusting is hosting the latest “18 Days” lyric video from death metal merchants, Six Feet Under. The apocalyptic hymn comes off the band’s forthcoming new studio effort, "Undead," set for North American release on May 22nd, 2012 through Metal Blade Records. Check out the video at this location.
Notorious for his themes of murder, death, and the supernatural, on "Undead" vocalist and lyrical mastermind Chris Barnes revisits topics that will be familiar to fans of the band, though as always he brings something new to the table. Notes Barnes: “The hypocrisies of daily life, things that affect us that spawn aggression, loneliness, sadness, there’s a lot of emotions going on across the record, and I guess that the dark horror that humans cause is my niche.”
However, while Barnes has a very clear vision for his craft, he is always excited by the interpretations of his songs by those who listen to them, feeding on the emotional investment they put in. “I love it when people tell me what they’ve got from the music and the lyrics. It’s like being an artist, you put the painting up on the wall – you know what it is, but sometimes it’s a little abstract and someone sees something else in it, and that’s the biggest compliment to me. That I’m able to get inside someone’s head and they actually give thought to something presented to them is inspiring to me too, and something I always want to be able to do with this band.” More...

Legendary death metal legion Six Feet Under today unveils the first single from forthcoming studio offering, "Undead." Slated for North American release on May 22nd, 2012 through Metal Blade Records, the 12 track recording was produced by Mark Lewis (Deicide, Devildriver) and mixed by Jason Suecof (Whitechapel, Job For A Cowboy), at Audio Hammer Studios in Sanford, Florida. Comments vocalist/death metal ambassador Chris Barnes of the recording: "I'm in pretty much the best headspace I've been in since myself and [former guitarist] Allen West started this band in 1993. I'm super excited about the new record. It's a rejuvenation; it's a rebirth of SIX FEET UNDER, and fans will definitely latch on to my excitement and how focused I am in the lyrics I've written… The hypocrisies of daily life, things that affect us that spawn aggression, loneliness, sadness, there's a lot of emotions going on across the record, and I guess that the dark horror that humans cause is my niche."
