Following their first ever trek through Brazil with Aborted, California goregrind ministers Exhumed will spray their blood overseas next month on the Grind Over Europe Tour 2012. Set to kick off on February 24th in Barcelona, Spain, the band will mercilessly tear through 16 cities. Speakers will blow, ears will bleed, villages will crumble. You have been warned. The band will be joined by label-mates Rotten Sound and Magrudergrind.
Comments vocalist/guitarist Matt Harvey: “We’re fully chuffed to have an opportunity to Grind Over Europe with a couple of our favorite bands: Rotten Sound and Magrudergrind! If you don’t like blastbeats, manic energy, beer, stage-diving, rhino charges, swinging thumbjumps or Scott Carlson bass grinds, do yourself a favor and stay the fuck home! This tour, in addition to being a screaming whirlwind holocaust, will single handedly bring the phrase ‘play fast or die!’ back en vogue. We’re psyched to get to hit a few countries for the first time on this tour, as well as dust off some old and particularly short, fast, and loud numbers for the set. Our very first tour in ‘97 was the Grind Over Europe II tour with Hemdale and Nyctophobic, so whoever said ‘you can’t go home again’ is obviously full of shit! Bring your studded vests, dreadlocks, Agathocles split EPs, and worn out old Napalm Death shirts on down to the show and let’s tear some shit apart! Cheers!”

Exhumed will be touring in support of "All Guts, No Glory," issued earlier this year via Relapse Records. To stream "All Guts, No Glory" in full visit this location.
Goregrind legends Exhumed played their first U.S. show in over six years at the 2011 edition of the Maryland Deathfest and thanks to NPR, the audio from the set -- in all its uncensored glory -- is available for your consumption at this location.
Exhumed released the "All Guts, No Glory" full-length earlier this year via Relapse Records. The record continues to reap critical acclaim from fans and critics nationally and has left it's grisly mark on multiple Year End lists including Decibel, Pitchfork, NPR.org, MetalSucks and Skulls N Bones.
Said vocalist/guitarist menace Matt Harvey: "2011 has been a great year for the band. We've had a killer time scraping off the rust on the gore metal machine and getting back on the road and partying with necromaniacs all over the place. It's amazing how many people have enjoyed our racket and have actually said nice things about our record -- sometimes even in public! We have a lot of shit planned for next year and we're chomping at the bit to continue subjecting the universe to more of our god awful noise! See you on the road...or at the bar. Play fast or die, dudes. Cheers!"

We've been getting letters and emails from folks down there for years and it is going to be awesome to finally be able to play for those maniacs south of the equator. I know they're ready for some serious gore fucking metal and we can't wait to deliver it to them!"

I was able to film the beginning of Havok and Exhumed's sets during their show in New Orleans at Siberia on November 17, 2011. You can watch the performance below. Exhumed just wrapped up their headlining tour that featured Goatwhore and Havok as support. More...
Texas is a large enough state, the largest of the lower forty-eight, and has so many metal scenes that its promoters have built festivals consisting solely of bands within its large borders. The Goregrowler’s Ball built its foundation on Lone Star groups. The first installment began five years ago, when festival organizer, Aaron Mendiola (read his interview) threw a thirty-band birthday bash in honor of his thirtieth birthday. Devourment headlined, a Texas band, albeit one of international acclaim. Since the first sanguinary celebration in 2007, Mendiola has continually increased the amount of signed bands with strong reputations in the metal underground, culminating with the strongest lineup yet at this year’s festivities.
As many festival promoters before him have done, Mendiola tapped some of the talent from ongoing tours. The Metal Underground-sponsored tour featuring Exhumed, Goatwhore and Havok provided day one’s headliners. Singaporean black metallers, Impiety didn’t have to board a plane for thirty hours (or however long it takes) to arrive in Texas. The festival comprised their San Antonio stop on the tour. Gravehill were part of this tour and were originally scheduled to play the Ball, but cancelled at the beginning of the month. Internal Bleeding, Hirax and Brutal Truth took center stage on Saturday and Suffocation ended the fest in a bone-breaking fashion.
The “A Clockwork Orange” dubbed Korova Club played host to the event. The club’s downtown location provided plenty of cheap parking, but the outdoor stage sparked controversy from townies and tourists alike. As if the festival were an odd, new River Walk attraction, people passing by often stopped and took in the strange noises that emanated from Korova’s parking lot stage. Food and beverages were prohibited from entering or leaving Korova’s gated premises, but allegedly one patron took a beer to the parking lot, which resulted in the club receiving a fine. On the third day, one of the fans alleged that the outdoor stage would be shut down due to excessive profanity. That never happened, but Goatwhore’s 11:30-12:00 outdoor showing went inside. Day two saw the indoor-outdoor shuffle retire at 10 PM and even earlier on the third day. More...
Ibex Moon records, one of America's premiere outlets for black and death metal, will be giving away CDs to the first 100 gore fiends to enter the Goregrowler Ball's blood-stained premises. This brutal grab bag will be offered on all three days, so make sure to show up early.
The Metal Underground-sponsored event takes place November 18th-20th at the Korova Club in San Antonio, Texas. Make sure to come out and have your eardrums bashed in by such vaunted artists as Suffocation, Exhumed, Solstice, Nokturnel, Havok, Phobia, Brutal Truth and Goatwhore.
Everyone has gaps in their experience, even with things they love. I, for example, have never seen "Caddyshack," despite enjoying comedy films. So when the call came from HQ for me to cover the MetalUnderground.com sponsored North American tour of Exhumed, Goatwhore, and Havok, I was a little thrown – who were these bands and what did they play?
I knew a little of Goatwhore from various heavy metal publications, and Havok had been getting some good pub on MetalUnderground.com recently, but I knew little of their music. And Exhumed, a goregrind band from Northern California, had been completely off my radar up until now, as grind isn’t my bag. But I figured this was a good shot for completely unbiased show viewing. So I pulled on my man-pants, grabbed my helmet, and did this thing. More...
Goregrind henchmen Exhumed are currently pulverizing the masses on the second leg of their North American tour with Goatwhore and Havok.
Commented vocalist/guitarist Matt Harvey from the road: “We’re really chuffed to by how the second leg of our Back From The Dead And Ready To Party tour has been going. The shows have been a shitload of fun and we’re having a great time raging with the boys in Goatwhore and Havok. So if you’re anywhere near our path of destruction, dysfunction and debauchery, come out and get your sense splattered.”
Exhumed still has the following upcoming shows with Goatwhore and Havok: More...
During Exhumed's November 2nd show at the Montage Musical Hall in Rochester, NY, Nokturnal Hellstorm vocalist Ron Blackwell joined the band onstage to surprise his girlfriend with a gory death metal proposal. Check out the clip below.
Exhumed is currently on tour supporting the band's latest album "All Guts, No Glory" released on July 5th via Relapse Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Anatomy Is Destiny" was recorded at Arcane Digital Recordings in Arizona with engineer Ryan Butler (MISERY INDEX) and at Trench Studios with John Haddad (ABYSMAL DAWN, INTRONAUT). It was mixed and mastered at Mana Recording Studios by Brian Elliott (GRAVES OF VALOR). The album was also made available on deluxe, saw-blade shaped vinyl and as a limited-edition two-disc set.

Set to commence on October 26th in New Mexico, the tour will lay waste to nearly two dozen cities and come to a close in Flagstaff, Arizona on November 20th.

Even better, we finally get to tour with Cephalic Carnage. It will be cool to show people how bands from Denver throw down. If this tour is anything like our last run with Forbidden, there are going to be some gnarly pits and bloody noses. Anyone that’s going to these shows should be prepared to have a sore neck.”
Added drummer Pete Webber: “We are pumped to announce our tour with Exhumed, Goatwhore and Cephalic Carnage this Fall!
