News wires across the globe were quick to pick up the report that Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne owed a reported 1.7 million dollars in taxes to the Internal Revenue Service. The Osbourne's reportedly have paid this debt that was, in their words, news to them. It’s too bad because that is obviously a lot of money. Other ways they could have spent 1.7 million dollars:
Sharon could slip the 1.7 to Donald Trump as a political “donation” in hopes of becoming his running mate for the next Presidential election…
Pay for a billboard over Hollywood’s Sunset strip and hire Randy “Macho Man” Savage to promote Jani Lane’s new EP. Lane has a new EP coming soon that will be a free download with a choice to pay. Let’s make this happen. Lane and Savage side by side over West Hollywood. Lane needs to get back to making music and Savage needs to get back to selling consumer products. How does this benefit Ozzy? Probably doesn’t, but let’s assume Sharon has a crush on Randy Savage, if so, call it an early Christmas present. For more information go to www.stepintoaslimjim.com... More...

This three hour instructional seminar will take place on Thursday, April 21st at Guitar Center Hollywood beginning at 7PM. This is a free event, but space is limited so be sure to get there early so you don't miss out on this very intimate evening. Fans can expect to see Gus perform his favorite riffs, participate in a Q+A segment, and autograph signing. For additional information visit this location.
Gus G. states: “I'm very excited about coming to Guitar Center in Hollywood later this month cause while I've done various clinics and workshops in Europe and Japan, this is going to be the first one in the U.S. for me! When they presented me with the 'Sessions' idea I thought it was a great way to meet some fans at a more intimate environment, play some stuff for them, answer questions and actually get to meet them. I will definitely be playing material from Ozzy and Firewind albums and hopefully I'll meet lots of you down there. Remember, this is going to be a free entrance event! See you soon.”

Forgetting about his recent trouble with the law, Vince Neil (Motley Crue) joined Steel Panther on stage at the Ovation Showroom in Green Valley Ranch, Las Vegas to sing Crue staples “Live Wire” and “Kick Start My Heart”. I’m not exactly sure where Green Valley Ranch is but I suspect the Ovation room is just down the hall from the Encore Center and Bravo-Bravo Hall… More...

John Lydon, the frontman of Public Image Ltd. and former vocalist of iconic punk rock legends the Sex Pistols, has hit out against Ozzy Osbourne for what he perceives to be an endorsement of drug abuse. Speaking to the Sunday Mercury while promoting his new book, "Mr Rotten’s Scrap Book," Lydon stated:
"'Paranoid' was one of the world’s greatest ever singles, but since then, the rumours of biting pigeon heads really, really haven’t impressed me. Ozzy now acting like a senile delinquent is equally unimpressive. The sly innuendo of promoting drug abuse and catatonic stupidity offends me.
"I’m not one for banning drugs. Quite the opposite. But I understand how to use them, and they don’t use me.
"Ozzy is clearly a victim, and selling that loser lifestyle shit to other people equally victimises them.
"That’s a shame. Ozzy’s a working class man, like me, yet he allows that to happen. By acting like he does all the time, he implies that we’re all stupid, the working classes. But we’re not, you know. We’re not! We’re the proper Britain, us lot."

While Warrant is putting the finishing touch on their new album we take a moment to think about Jani Lane and where he may be. I like to think he is part of a mentoring program, helping lead singers get through serving their time in jail/prison. Right now Jani is opening a letter with his next project, the letter says simply: Vince Neil… More...

If you missed the much talked about Super Bowl commercial from Best Buy featuring Ozzy Osbourne and Justin Bieber, you can now check it out below:
It was reported last week that Vince Neil (Motley Crue) owes 1 million dollars in taxes. He has since denied this report, but I’m assuming one of his many business ventures will cover the expense if needed. If not, expect a hat to circulate the crowd during this year’s Crue Fest…
Bret Michaels (Poison) continues to recover from heart surgery. The surgery was originally to fix a hole in his heart, but turned into a much larger procedure when they found an actual VH1 cameraman wrapped around his aortic valve…
Warrant has hit a new milestone with allowing their ballad “Heaven”, to be used in a commercial by the laundry detergent, Gain. Given eighties rockers seem to resonate with the forty something MILF (and non-MILF) crowds could we be seeing the start of something new? How about Skid Row’s “I Remember You” for PMS medication for that special time of the month? For men, well I can’t think of a better song than Def Leppard’s “Rocket” to sell penis enlargement products. Public service announcements for STD prevention? Motley Crue’s “Red Hot” works, of course, “I Remember You” may also work here as well… More...
Saxon has issued the following brief announcement about appearing at this year's edition of the Sauna Open Air festival:

Let's see how sweaty it will be and see you there!"
The festival is set to take place from June 9th - 11th, 2011 and will feature appearances from Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest, and Helloween. Saxon also recently announced Australian shows with The Sword. Details on those dates can be found here.
This week a look back at what if certain break-ups, decisions, or meetings didn’t happen and how it would have turned out for the parties involved.
WHAT IF VAN HALEN DOESN’T SPLIT?
David Lee Roth stays with the VH brothers and continues touring to support the 1984 album. Eventually Roth loses his voice for a very long time, but this doesn’t stop Eddie and Alex from making their next album, an instrumental only record, titled: 1986. Despite Roth’s voice gone, they still tour (with DLR only doing karate kicks on stage) and for two years sell out arenas worldwide. Eventually, their popularity dies down with the ill-advised 1990 album titled: Still Runnin’ With The Devil. As for Sammy Hagar? Without VH in his way he focuses on his tequila, eventually forming a strong partnership with a leading brand and goes on to make billions with Jose Haggar… More...
According to a report from USA Today, heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne will be featured in a new Superbowl commercial for Best Buy, along with teenage heart throb and internet hate figure, Justin Bieber.
