According to the Deep Purple fan site The Highway Star, Living Loud — the new "supergroup" consisting of Bob Daisley (Ozzy Osbourne, Rainbow, Uriah Heep) on bass, Steve Morse (Deep Purple, Kansas, Dixie Dregs) on guitar, Don Airey (Deep Purple, Rainbow) on keyboards, Lee Kerslake (Uriah Heep, Ozzy Osbourne) on drums and Jimmy Barnes (Cold Chisel) on vocals — are currently in discussions to tour the U.S. in January next year.
Living Loud's self-titled CD and DVD will be released through EMI International in three formats: The original studio CD with two bonus live tracks ("Crazy Train" and "Good Times"), the DVD, or a DVD/CD double-pack titled "Loud & Live." The DVD will be available in PAL and NTSC formats, and will feature two bonus tracks not found on the CD ("Gimme Some Lovin'" and "Good Times"). Exact release dates have yet to be confirmed. In addition, negotiations are in place with iTunes to release a recording of the group's entire April 26 show in Sydney exclusively in the coming weeks.
Preview clips of three tracks from the Living Loud DVD have been posted online. The songs available for viewing are "Crazy Train" (Quicktime), "Good Times" (Quicktime) and "I Don't Know" (Quicktime).
Living Loud's debut album was recorded in Florida at Greg Rikes studio with producer Darren Schneider, who has worked with Deep Purple, Matchbox Twenty and Creed. The keyboards were subsequently laid down and at AIR studios in London, where the entire affair was mixed. The album includes five new original songs written by Steve, Jimmy, Lee and Bob, along with several cover versions of various Ozzy Osbourne classics.
In a recent interview with Guitar World Magazine, BLACK SABBATH guitarist TONY IOMMI talked about the other legendary Sabbath frontman, RONNIE JAMES DIO, "(On the Dio albums) I'm really satisfied with them. No disrespect to OZZY, but I think it's a shame that they've been buried by all the Ozzy stuff. I think they're good albums, and I think Dio deserves a bit more credit than what he did get. He rarely gets mentioned when people talk about the band. Same with TONY MARTIN."
Iommi is currently working on another solo album and performing this summer at Ozzfest with original Sab members Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward.
Oscar nominee Johnny Depp has begun negotiations over starring as rocker Ozzy Osbourne in a forthcoming biopic. Asked if this this going to be the newest reality show, Sharon replied, "It might be, it might not be. But it is going to be televised."
Following the cancellation of her talk show, Sharon plans to face off with Simon Cowell in a new TV talent search show called "The X Factor". Sharon says that both son Jack and daughter Kelly are back on track and she and Ozzy are feeling better than ever. "How lucky am I to have such a family? I am blessed," she told "Extra".

For the first time, video of Ozzy Osbourne's ATV accident in December has been released, shown in the 5th episode of 'The Osbournes'. Watch a clip from KTLA.
Although a cameraman was not on hand to film the actual accident as it occurred, a lensman did get out to the crash site fast enough to film the dramatic aftermath.
The accident halted filming of the MTV reality series for five weeks and will delay the series' next new episode for six weeks, according to the New York Post.
"They had to shut down production out of respect for the family and for Ozzy while he recovered," an MTV spokesman told the New York Post. "We backed off and waited for Sharon and the rest of the family to feel more comfortable with it."
The next installment — episode six of the series' third season — will not be seen until Tuesday, April 6 (10:30 p.m. on MTV).
Ozzy, 55, broke his left collarbone, eight ribs and one vertebra after losing control of an ATV he uses on his vast country estate in Buckinghamshire, England.
Episode six on April 6 is expected to pick up with Ozzy recovering at home.

'His doctors did not want him to do the tour, but he insisted, so he is planning on having a team of doctors travel with him.' Onstage, Ozzy will have several well-placed chairs and poles to assist him if he should need to sit or stand during performances. Meanwhile, Ozzy's wife Sharon has enraged some Ozzfest bands by demanding they pay upwards of $100,000 to perform in the traveling heavy metal show. It's prohibitive for smaller bands,' said our source, who noted Sharon is focusing on trying to get METALLICA, SLIPKNOT and JUDAS PRIEST to sign on to headline the tour. A rep said: 'The Osbournes traditionally charge the lesser known bands for a marketing fee, but the Osbournes pay the larger bands — and there will not be a slew of doctors in the road.' "
