An expanded band lineup and festival experience has been announced for the third annual Monster Energy’s Welcome To Rockville - April 27th and 28th 2013 - at Jacksonville’s scenic Metropolitan Park along the beautiful St. Johns River.
As part of the enhanced festival weekend, Monster Energy’s Welcome To Rockville will also feature the “Corona Light presents the Downtown Rockville Experience” -a Friday, April 26 pre-party and two after-parties on Saturday, April 27. Admission to the parties is FREE. The Friday, April 26 pre-party will feature Saliva with Evergreen Terrace at Underbelly in Jacksonville.
The Saturday, April 27 after parties include DJ Monk with special guests at 1904 Music Hall in Jacksonville, and Icey and Robert Goodman at Underbelly in Jacksonville. For full details, visit this location. More...
This year, the third annual Monster Energy’s "Welcome To Rockville" festival expands to two days - April 27 & 28, 2013 - at Jacksonville’s scenic Metropolitan Park along the St. Johns River.
The event will feature headlining performances from Alice In Chains and Limp Bizkit, as well as Jacksonville legends Lynyrd Skynyrd. The lineup for Welcome To Rockville also includes: 3 Doors Down, Shinedown, Stone Sour, Three Days Grace, Papa Roach, Bullet For My Valentine, Halestorm, Buckcherry, Hollywood Undead, Skillet, All That Remains, Device (featuring David Draiman from Disturbed), Asking Alexandria, Escape The Fate, Filter, In This Moment, Steel Panther, Motionless In White, Pop Evil, Otherwise, Saving Abel, Nonpoint, Red, Young Guns, Thousand Foot Krutch, Gemini Syndrome, Girl On Fire, and more.
A special Monster Energy’s Welcome To Rockville ticket presale will take place on Tuesday, January 29th and Wednesday, January 30th at select Metro PCS stores. No ticket service fees will be charged during the presale. The regular ticket onsale begins Friday, February 1 at 10am EST at this location, all Ticketmaster locations, and select Metro PCS stores. Two-day General Admission tickets will be just $99.50 plus service fees and single day General Admission tickets will be $54.50 plus service fees. A limited number of two-day VIP tickets and hotel packages will also be available.

Nonpoint has issued the following announcement about seeking fans to appear in a music video shoot next week:
"We want you to be in the next Nonpoint music video! We're shooting a music video for 'I Said It' on Tuesday, July 24th at The Majestic in Madison, WI. Make sure you're there! Entry to the venue is free...details at this location."

Nonpoint has posted an in-studio video clip online discussing the making of the band's forthcoming self-titled album, coming soon on Razor & Tie. Check out the clip below.
The new album was produced/mixed by Grammy nominated Producer, Johnny K (Disturbed, Staind, Megadeth) and also features some additional production and mixing from Brian Virtue (30 Seconds To Mars, Chevelle). Virtue produced and mixed the first single "Left For You."

Nonpoint has checked in with the following announcement about splitting with the band's bassist and guitarist:
"After years of performing together, Nonpoint have confirmed that the band will be moving on without the service of guitarist Zach Broderick and founding member bassist Ken MacMillan.
"Founding members frontman Elias Soriano and drummer Robb Rivera will continue writing with new members for the forthcoming new Nonpoint album, which is slated for a 2012 summer release. Ken and Zach are currently involved in a new project that will be announced within the immediate future. Both parties wish to thank their fans for their continued support over the years. Please stay tuned for further announcements shortly."

"We want to thank all of you for your amazing comments regarding our current situation . Elias and I (Robb) have been working hard on new music with the newest chapter of the band. We are 21 songs deep into the record with this new lineup and we will not disappoint you. We did not expect for this to go easy in any way, shape or form. Blame it on the liquored egg nog or a simple exuberance to finally tear open those beautiful packages under the tree, but somehow we didn't get up the list of new Rock Band Network metal songs last Friday. Just because it isn't the weekend doesn't mean you can't pull down the plastic guitars and get a-rocking, though, as this week sees quite a few new metal entries to the game.
The Xbox 360 version has been taken over by the likes of Dimmu Borgir, Arkaea, Battlesoul, Heaven Shall Burn, and Deadlock. On December 28th the PS3 version of Rock Band gets more Suicide Silence, All That Remains, and Between the Buried and Me. Continuing to beef up its metal selection, the Wii edition gets IWrestledABearOnce, Demon Hunter, and Asking Alexandria on January 4th.
