Nonpoint's 2017 is looking a lot like the band's 2016: on the road and on the radio. The band released latest album and Spinefarm Records debut, "The Poison Red," earlier this summer, and hasen't stopped for a breather since, remaining on tour for most of the year.
The band will kick off 2017 in expected fashion - on the road and touring with Alter Bridge. Dates are below and begin on January 24th, running through February 22nd. Nonpoint also released a video fo "Divided... Conquer Them," available after the tour info.
"This video is part one of a story we are looking to bring our fans into throughout out next few releases," said singer Elias Soriano. "I don't know how far or deep this project will allow us to go with it, but I'm excited to see reactions to each step of this story. This one is all about setting the pace." More...

Nonpoint will release new album "The Poison Red" on July 8th, 2016, marking the band's Spinefarm Records debut. Check out freshly released track "Generation Idiot" below.
The track rails against Internet tough guys and text-message fairweather friends, emphasizing the power of deeper means of communication and connection, which includes music.
"This record tells a lot of stories," said vocalist Elias Soriano. "Going from guts to glory. Chasing impossible dreams down the rabbit hole. Harsh and honest words with consequences attached. Uncovered rules for the weak, made by the wicked and heartless. Recalling fight or flight moments with a deep breath. And it all starts with a warning to all the world's generations past, present and future to look up, look forward and live their lives loose from social media shackles, online bullying, the devaluation of art and music, and to not be absorbed by the dramatic, megalomaniacal side of politics. Life is right outside of your phone and newsfeed. Go live it and play this record while you do. It'll all start to make sense."

Nonpoint is already gearing up for a busy 2016: the band will enter the studio to work on a next full length and Spinefarm Records debut, due out sometime next year. The band will then spend all of March and early April on tour with Disturbed, the dates of which are already entirely sold out.
Singer Elias Soriano offered this update: "We would like to announce that we have scheduled our next record's recording at Uptown Recording Studio in Chicago with Rob Ruccia. Figuring in the popularity of our last record and us pretty much self-producing that one with Daniel Salcido, we decided on self-producing this record as well with Rob. Great studio with great people and equally great gear. So it's gonna be a banger.
"We've got 16 [songs] ready to record, and three still in the works. So we will be choosing the record from a list of what we feel are all monster songs. Quite simply, if you thought the last record made your head bang, this record will make it roll off your shoulders and jump into the pit and start doing the Morning Star; old hardcore fans will translate that for you.
"After gaining advice, inspiration and insight from our some of friends in the industry like Brian Virtue and David Draiman, we have attacked the writing process in a way we feel we have missed since the early days of us jamming in a room together.
"This record is the product of pain, frustration, power and the environmental influence on this band. That mounted with the introduction of BC on guitars now has changed the game. Imagine feeling like Eddie Van Halen's illegitimate child just joined your band. That's how I feel with him on my right. So this record will no doubt be a beast for our fans." More...
Spinefarm Records is pleased to announce the addition of active rock radio mainstays Nonpoint to the label's worldwide roster. Nonpoint will enter the studio to work on this label debut and ninth full-length album in early 2016. Spinefarm also comments:
"From their 2000 debut Statement through 2014's The Return, Nonpoint have stayed the course, continuously crafting smart rock anthems with the kind of hooks that take up residence in your brain for days. The band is a staple performer at all the core U.S. festivals, such as Rock on the Range, Carolina Rebellion, and Rocklahoma, and has enjoyed several Top 20 rock radio singles. Nonpoint's 2014 single 'Breaking Skin' was the most played track of the year on SiriusXM's Octane channel."
Of the signing, Nonpoint frontman Elias Soriano said, "In the 15 years of being part of this big machine, filled with radio stations, labels and all-around crazies, it feels nice to sit down and talk about the future of your lifelong dream with a team that shares the passion and excitement that we do performing the music. Spinefarm is home now. Hallelujah."
Spinefarm General Manager Jonas Nachsin also stated, "As our roster continues to build, we are very excited to have such a quality act join forces with us. Nonpoint's new music sounds amazing and along with their great team including Steve Davis, we are very excited to bring it to the world in the very near future."

Nonpoint - which just released new album "The Return" - has checked in with the following announcement about cancelling tonight's live show:
"To everyone that was going to come out to tonight's show in Mishawaka, IN we truly apologize, but unfortunately we have to cancel the show.
"The club is not equipped for Nonpoint to put on a show that the fans deserve. The sound system is not connected and the stage moves when we walk across it. We will rebook the show in the near future and do it right for the Nonpoint Nation.
"We are not happy about canceling the show but it is something we have to do. We promise to make it up to you all. Thank you for your understanding." More...

Nonpoint is set to release eighth studio album, "The Return," on September 26th / 29th via Metal Blade Records (excluding North America). The new song "Breaking Skin" is streaming below, and you can find pre-order info at this location.
In February 2014, Nonpoint entered Groovemaster Studios with Grammy Award-nominated producer Johnny K (Disturbed, Staind, Megadeth) and engineer Daniel Salcidoto. It marked their second collaboration together.
Vocalist Elias Soriano elaborates: "I wanted to play with vocal patterns and tell longer stories in some places, while saying very little in others. The record has its own DNA because each song respectively does as well."
Drummer Robb Rivera goes on to say, "Johnny is like the sixth member of our band at this point! He works us, and he pulls no punches. It was such a natural thing that we only needed to track for three weeks. Johnny understands the band and what we are, and he encourages us to be ourselves."
Elias explains the meaning behind the first single: "It's about addiction, whether it be food, drugs, sex, lying, or anything, that tends to turn into an itch. You can't stop scratching it so you break skin. Then, you're bleeding. You need to get help at that point and deal with it."
"I want everybody to feel like they got a complete record from beginning to end," concludes Elias. "I want them to walk away with something substantial and true that they can hopefully come back to."
Robb leaves off, "Nonpoint has always been known for writing songs that help people. If we can help even one person feel better about his or her day, we've done well, as far as I'm concerned. I hope everybody gets something positive and can walk away with a smile." More...

Metal Blade Records is excited to announce that Nonpoint will join its global roster of artists. Metal Blade will serve as the label home for the band worldwide.
"This is a dream situation for us. Just getting an offer from Metal Blade. We've always needed a team behind us outside of the U.S. It's a great feeling knowing you now have the best team possible." says Elias Soriano, the band's vocalist.
Drummer Robb Rivera comments: "We are excited to not only get THE worldwide label of labels to release our album outside of the US, but to be part of a family now that has pretty much set the bar for metal releases for 30 plus years. Needless to say, extremely excited to be able to get our music to the fans outside of the US through the team that helped launch Metallica."
