German medieval rockers Subway to Sally are writing a new song, which will be included in an audiobook of Edgar Allen Poe, the famed 18th century writer whose work often found its way into the lyrics of Metal songs.
Right in time with the release of "Nord Nord Ost" on Aug 22, German medieval rockers Subway to Sally have completely redone and relaunched their official homepage at www.subwaytosally.de.

Wacken Open Air Festival organizers have just confirmed acts for next year's W:O:A, set to take place August 3rd to 5th in Wacken Germany. Bands confirmed so far are Children of Bodom, Die Apokalyptischen Reiter, In Extremo, Soilwork and Subway to Sally.

Subway to Sally, Germany's most successful Medieval Rock/Metal band, has announced that their forthcoming album, "Nord Nord Ost" (= "North North East"), will be release on August 22nd.
The album deals with the depths of emotional coldness, adequately, the band chose the song "Eisblumen" (= "Ice Flowers") as first single which will give a first impression of Subway to Sally's new masterpiece on July 25th.
In other news, drummer David Pätsch decided to leave the band has been replaced by former Knorkator drummer Christian "Chrishchrash“ Gerlach.
