For a further insight into the band's very first EP "Waldschrein," German epic metal heroes Equilibrium have given fans the chance to address their questions directly to the band via Facebook. Part 3 of the Facebook fan interview is now online and can be viewed below.
"Waldschrein" was produced by guitarist René Berthiaume in Helion Studios and mixed and mastered by the Resetti Brothers – namely Joerg Umbreit and Vincent Sorg – in their Principal Studios. "Waldschrein" encompasses the brand new title track and an acoustic version of the same song plus a re-recorded and extended version of "Der Sturm" from "Turis Fratyr" (originally sung by ex-vocalist Helge Stange, now by front man Robse Dahn). Moreover, it contains "Zwergenhammer"- a previously unreleased older song – as well as a cover version of Skyrim's opening theme.

Today is the day: German epic metal heroes Equilibrium unleash their pagan fury once again – on their very first EP to date!
Produced by guitarist René Berthiaume in Helion Studios and mixed and mastered by the Resetti Brothers – namely Joerg Umbreit and Vincent Sorg – in their Principal Studios, "Waldschrein" encompasses the new title track and an acoustic version of the same song plus a re-recorded and extended version of "Der Sturm" from "Turis Fratyr" (originally sung by ex-vocalist Helge Stange, now by front man Robse Dahn). Moreover, it contains "Zwergenhammer," a previously unreleased older song, as well as a cover version of famous video game Skyrim's opening theme.
The band commented: "We were really looking forward to releasing this EP, because we all have to wait until next year for our next full-length album to be released. This makes it the perfect chance to release some songs and recordings that didn’t make it on any regular album because they are so exclusive. The best thing is that with the song 'Waldschrein' we can already give the fans a little foretaste of what to expect in 2014!"

Italian folk/melodic death metal act Krampus announced the band's new drummer, Hati Refaeli (Equilibrium), to replace Carlo Andrian, who was struck by lightning in October of 2012.
The press release reads as follows:
"Drummer Hati Refaeli, currently of Equilibrium fame, has joined the Italian metal act Krampus as a full member in early 2013. Both band and management are very excited to add such a talented drummer to the mix, particularly at this point in time: Songwriting for a new album is in full gear, and the band is undergoing musical changes that will both elevate Krampus to the next level and pose a challenge to its eight band members."

A video trailer for the upcoming Paganfest 2012 Tour of Europe was posted by Rock the Nation. The lineup includes Eluveitie, Primordial, Negura Bunget, Heidevolk, Solstafir, Korpiklaani and Equilibrium. Swiss folk metal outfit Eluveitie has been confirmed as the headliner for the 2012 edition of the travelling Paganfest event. Joining them on the trek will be Primordial, Negura Bunget, Heidevolk and Solstafir. Speaking on the tour, Eluveitie singer Chrigel Glanzmann stated: "Of course we look forward to the Paganfest Tour 2012! One hand, we can not wait to show our fans the songs from our new album 'Helvetios' live (and we will do this extensively on Paganfest). On the other hand, we look forward to tour with such cool bands and to be on the road with good friends, like the Irish guys from Primordial. We are convinced of the line-up of the upcoming Paganfest. It is an honor for us to headline this package of great bands. We are confident that each evening on the Paganfest tour will be a musical experience that you will never forget! See you there!"

Napalm Records has issued the following statement about the upcoming Christmas Metal Festival in Germany:

German folk metal act Equilibrium has issued the following statement about the band's appearance on the Heidentfest 2010 tour:
"Home again! Heidenfest 2010 is over and we thank all bands, everyone involved and all fans who made this tour unforgettable for us! Who missed to get one of our limited 'Rekrea-Tour 2010'-shirts can order it in our shop now! Or you simply come to the Helion Festival (October 23rd in Munich/Backstage) where our last show for this year will take place!

Montreal death metal icons Kataklysm has revealed details regarding the its upcoming headlining tour of Europe. The tour, named "The Neckbreaker's Ball," will run between January 14, 2011 and February 6th. Support on the tour will come from Equilibrium, Legion of the Damned, Manegarm and Milking the Goatmachine.

"We just smashed the German, Austrian and Swiss charts with our brand new effort 'Rekreatur!' Germany: # 20, Austria: # 58, Switzerland: # 58. What a blast! Already last time we couldn’t believe we entered the charts! But this time we charted 10 positions higher – which is just an amazing feeling!

Everything has been filmed like you can see in the video!
