Living Sacrifice Posts New Song Online
Living Sacrifice has posted another new song, entitled "The Battle," online on their MySpace page. "The Battle" is the second song from the "Death Machine" digital only release. In addition to streaming on MySpace with the previously released new song, "Death Machine," the songs are also available on Itunes.
As previously reported, these songs will not be included on the band's upcoming full length release, which is slated for 2009. The band does, however, plan to release these songs on 7 inch vinyl in addition to the digital release.
Believer Reveals More Album Details
Believer vocalist/guitarist Kurt Bachman has posted the following update:
"Hi everyone. Please forgive my blogging absence. Everything is going great with the record. We just recorded some amazing guest guitar solos from Joe Rico (SACRIFICE) and Rocky Gray (EVANESCENCE, SOUL EMBRACED, LIVING SACRIFICE) with some other guests on the way (not too many though). We hope to also have some label info and a release date to you very soon, so stand-by...

Demon Hunter and Living Sacrifice Rock Philly
I recently had the chance to check out the Demon Hunter tour in Philadelphia, PA. The show was on June 22nd and featured Living Sacrifice, Oh Sleeper, The Famine and The Advent.
Being a huge Demon Hunter fan, I was excited to see who they had touring with them. Since I've only heard Living Sacrifice before, I had no idea what to expect with the other acts that were performing. More...
Living Sacrifice Releases New Digital-Only Songs
Living Sacrifice has announced that the recently release tracks "Death Machine" and "The Battle" will not be on their new album. Rather, they have been recorded and released independently for digital download only. The only way to get the songs is from the Bandbox player on the front of their MySpace page as well as itunes.
The band also has plans to release these songs on 7 inch vinyl.
Living Sacrifice is currently working on a new record with plans for an early 2009 release.
Demon Hunter Sits Out Two Shows
Demon Hunter was unable to perform at The Norva in Norfolk, Virginia and Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, North Carolina on June 24 and June 25, respectively. However, the shows were not cancelled and all of the support bands -- Living Sacrifice, Oh Sleeper, The Famine and Avent -- performed as scheduled.
Demon Hunter was forced to sit these two shows out as their singer, Ryan Clark, fell ill earlier in the week. His voice was gone and he had to rest and recuperate to get it back. Demon Hunter will resume the Stronger Than Hell Tour on Thursday, June 26 at Rockettown in Nashville, Tennessee.
Jason Truby To Guest w/ Living Sacrifice Tonight
Former Living Sacrifice guitarist Jason Truby (also ex-P.O.D.) will make a special appearance with Living Sacrifice tonight as the "Stronger Than Hell Tour" hits the band's hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas.
A founding member of Living Sacrifice, Truby was with the group from the time they formed in 1989 until he left the band in 1997. He was the lead guitarist on all of the band's albums through Reborn. After exiting Living Sacrifice, he played with P.O.D. from 2003 to 2006. He is currently working on new solo material.
Yesterday, LIVING SACRIFICE released two brand new songs exclusively online. "Death Machine" and "The Battle," the band's first new songs since 2002, are available for purchase on the band's MySpace page through Bandbox. The single features brand new exclusive artwork by artist Dave Quiggle.
"We're super excited to be able to put out some new stuff for people to hear. This is our newest material in more than five years!", says vocalist / guitarist and founding member Bruce Fitzhugh. "Now that these songs are posted we'll be playing them live while on tour with Demon Hunter!"
Fitzhugh is joined in the reunited Living Sacrifice by founding member / drummer Lance Garvin (Soul Embraced) as well as lead guitarist Rocky Gray (Soul Embraced, ex-Evanescence) and bass player Arthur Green, both of whom have played with Living Sacrifice since 2000's The Hammering Process.
"This tour has been more then we could hope for, it's awesome to see this band playing to some younger fans for the very first time," says Bruce.
Living Sacrifice is finalizing a deal with Solid State for the release of their next full-length album.

The tentative track listing for the CD is as follows:
01. To End It All
02. Into Darkness
03. Everything Reminds Me Of You
04. A Curtain Of Deceit
05. The Devils Reflection
06. Judas I've Become

Originally a side project of drummer David Sroczynski and William "Rocky" Gray from SHREDDED CORPSE, SOUL EMBRACED dissolved after creating one song for a metal compilation. Rocky would reform the band with fellow LIVING SACRIFICE member and Christian metal legend Lance Garvin (drums) and his brother in-law Chad Moore (vocals). When Rocky and Lance weren't busy with LIVING SACRIFICE, they would hammer away at making material for their death metal side project. The band released an EP (1999's "The Fleshless" EP), and three albums (2000's "For The Incomplete", 2002's "This Is My Blood", and 2003's "Immune") over a five-year span. SOUL EMBRACED's debut album, "For the Incomplete", was re-released in 2003 by the independent label Blood and Ink Records.
SOUL EMBRACED is:
Rocky Gray - Guitar
Chad Moore - Vocals
Lance Garvin - Drums
Devin Castle - Guitar
Jeff Bowie - Bass
Demon Hunter Announces "Stronger Than Hell Tour"
Demon Hunter will launch their "Stronger Than Hell Tour" this summer in support of the band's brand new album for Solid State Records, Storm The Gates Of Hell.
"The Stronger Than Hell Tour will definitely be an amazing experience for everyone involved," said singer Ryan Clark, who co-founded Demon Hunter with his guitarist brother Don shortly before the release of their self-titled debut album in 2002. "We can't wait to play some new material and get to know more of our amazing fans."
"I can't tell you how excited we are to get back out there on the road and play some new songs along with the crowd favorites," added Don, who recently attended the 2008 Grammy Awards as a nominee in the graphic design / packaging category (Ryan Clark was nominated last year and the year before).
The Stronger Than Hell Tour will feature special guest Living Sacrifice, the legendary metal band whose alumnus went on to join bands like Evanescence and P.O.D. This will be their first tour since reuniting.
The tour lineup is rounded out by Demon Hunter's labelmates in Oh, Sleeper as well as The Famine (featuring former Demon Hunter guitarist Chris McCaddon) and North Carolina's Advent.
"The members of Demon Hunter are ecstatic about the lineup," said Ryan Clark. "It features many of our old friends in both reunited and amazing new bands. For us, it's a bit of a family reunion."
Demon Hunter recently completed a video for "Carry Me Down," the second single from Storm The Gates Of Hell. The group was named one of "10 Artists to Watch" by AOL Music and featured on the cover of Revolver for their 2006 "Christian Metal" story. Demon Hunter's fans are some of the most dedicated in heavy metal. Check out their MySpace page to see the Demon Hunter logo tattoos that adorn many of their bodies.

Living Sacrifice To Tour With Demon Hunter
According to MTV.com's "Metal File", DEMON HUNTER will tour this summer with the recently reunited LIVING SACRIFICE. Tour dates will be announced soon. LIVING SACRIFICE, which formed in 1990, recorded six albums before breaking up in 2003. The band's current lineup features two founding members — guitarist/singer Bruce Fitzhugh and drummer Lance Garvin — along with bassist Arthur Green and ex-EVANESCENCE drummer Rocky Gray on guitar. The group plans to release a new album in time for the tour.
LIVING SACRIFICE's last release was the "In Memoriam" CD, which came out in 2005 via Solid State Records. The album was a "best of" colection containing three newly written and recorded songs by Lance Garvin, Rocky Gray and Bruce Fitzhugh, two tracks from each LIVING SACRIFICE album, plus "Enthroned", a 1998 re-recording of a song that originally appeared on 1992's "Nonexistent".

Living Sacrifice Record New Tracks For Best-Of
Living Sacrifice, who broke up almost two years ago, recently recorded three new songs for inclusion on their upcoming best-of release, "In Memoriam." According to Bruce Fitzhugh, "Doing these songs was a good excuse to get together with Rocky (Gray - guitarist) and Lance (Garvin - percussion) in the studio again. Plus I really felt like a release, like this would be better for fans if there was some new material." Solid State Records will release the effort in March.
