Touche Amore will enter the studio in February to record a new album, titled "Parting The Sea Between Brightness And Me." The album will be recorded by engineer Ed Rose at his Black Lodge Recording Studio in Eudora, Kansas. On recording with Ed Rose, vocalist Jeremy Bolm said, "We are very excited to get to work with Ed Rose, he has an unmatched ability to drive out some of the cleanest but heaviest sounding records. Boston's Bridge Nine Records has announced New York's H2O as their latest signing. H2O is currently in the studio with producer Chad Gilbert (Shai Hulud, New Found Glory, Hazen Street) and engineer Paul Miner (Death By Stereo) working on their as-yet untitled fifth full-length CD/LP.
"This is something that we are very excited to announce," said Chris Wrenn, Owner of Bridge Nine Records. "H2O has a long history for both me and everyone who works here and they fit with the label's decade of history and the roster of bands with almost 100 releases. They have a history with Sick Of It All and the guys in Project X, and they fit in well with our current bands like Death Before Dishonor all the way to Crime In Stereo. I remember seeing H2O when I was in college in 1995 and the band was everything hardcore should be - they were energetic, everyone at the show was having fun, and it had such a positive vibe."
Doctors have released Glassjaw Lead Singer Daryl Palumbo to play one show. That one show will be August 31, 2005 at the Hammerstein Ballroom as the Main Support for The Used. who are currently on a Headline U.S. and Canadian Tour
The Used are also playing Hammerstein Ballroom on August 30 and Glassjaw will NOT be on that show.
Daryl Palumbo - "It sucks that my health did not permit me to do the whole tour but I am excited to be able to play a Glassjaw show in my hometown. I am working hard on getting better and look forward to doing more touring with Head Automatica and Glassjaw in the future."
Bert McCracken - "Glassjaw are one of my favorite bands of all time and to get to play with them even once is an honor!"
As Previously reported, Glassjaw were slated to tour with The Used, but had to withdraw from the tour due to singer Daryl Palumbo’s on going battle with Crohn’s Disease. Palumbo has been suffering from Crohn’s since childhood and it has wreaked havoc on the dynamic singer’s personal and professional life. H2O replaced Glassjaw on the tour.
