The organisers of Britain's High Voltage festival has announced five more bands for the lineup. New Orleans supergroup Down will now be performing at the event, as will Gary Moore, Magnum, Joe Bonamassa and Northern Irish rockers The Answer. This will be the first edition of the festival and is scheduled to take place at London's Victoria Park on the 24th and 25th of July.
U.K. metallers Awake have issued the following announcement about upcoming tour dates with Magnum:
"Just a quick update about some gigs we have coming up. We will be doing 4 dates with Magnum at the start of November:

11/6 Academy London
11/7 The Assembley Leamington Spa
11/8 Waterfront Norwich
"We're looking forward to doing these shows with Magnum, after we had a great time with them on tour last year! This is also a great oppourtunity to play some of new songs that we have been working on for the new album! German power metal band SAIDIAN will head out on a tour in support of their new album "Evercircle." SAIDIAN will also be joining UK hard rock band MAGNUM on four of their German shows.

British rock band Magnum will be heading out on a European tour later this year as part of the " Into The Valley Of The Moonking" Tour.

UK metallers Awake have been confirmed as guests on the UK leg of Magnum’s May 2008 European tour - dates below. Awake will also be appearing at the Dokkem Open Air Festival Holland, Cambridge Rock Festival, UK and the East Riding Rock Festival, UK.

Kex Gorin, original drummer (from 1972 - 1984) for long-time UK rockers MAGNUM, has been in the hospital, critically ill with cancer. The band are sad to report the following message:
"All the guys in Magnum wish to say how deeply sorry we are to hear that Kex Gorin passed away Friday morning (December 21st). Our thoughts are with (partner) Sally and family at this time. We would would like to thank all those who showed their support. Kex Gorin will be deeply missed."
Longtime UK rockers MAGNUM have announced dates for the upcoming Wings Of Heaven Tour that will commence in November. The shows are to be recorded for a forthcoming live album for release next year to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the original Wings Of Heaven album. The shows will include many of the tracks from the latest Princess Alice & The Broken Arrow album and many classic Magnum tracks from their extensive back catalogue. Also, Magnum's Wings Of Heaven album will be played in it’s entirety, It will be a two part show with no support.

Metal rock ‘n' roll outlaws Damage Control, featuring Chris Slade (drums AC/DC), Pete Way (bass UFO), Spike (vocals Quireboys), and Robin George (guitar Robert Plant, Thin Lizzy, Magnum), has been confirmed as "very special guests" to perform at Bloodstock 2007 on Thursday 16 August. Bloodstock will be the band's only UK show this year. Damage Control just released their self-titled debut album on Cargo Records.

Sweden Rock Festival will take place on June 9 to 11, 2005 in Sölvesborg, Sweden. The progressive metal band Dream Theater have just been confirmed for the festival. Other confirmed band are as follows:
