Warmachine Dispute Dave Mustaine Claims

Toronto's WARMACHINE recently finished first - with 21% of the vote - in the Who Will Support MEGADETH In Europe? poll, conducted via TheLiveLine.com.

However, Warmachine is not opening up for Megadeth across Europe in February and March, EVILE is.

Warmachine vocalist/guitarist Joe DiTaranto has issued the following statement: "I have to address a matter that I am very unhappy about. Dave Mustaine has stated that 'Warmachine do not have the means to do the tour.' This is completely untrue! We had more than enough means to do the tour (ie. tour support, work visas, passports, crew, etc.). Dave nor his management have not even bothered to contact us at all during this whole thing. So he/they would not be aware of that."

Despite this setback, Warmachine will perform live at The Kathedral in Toronto, ON on Sunday, January 20th.

In other news, Warmachine finished first in the recent Who Will Support MEGADETH In Europe? poll, conducted via TheLiveLine.com, with 21% of the vote.

While Megadeth mainman Dave Mustaine has not yet contacted Warmachine, vocalist/guitarist Joe DiTaranto has issued the following statement:

"I'd like to take a moment and thank Jon Starets and the TheLiveLine.com, as well as Megadeth of course, for giving Warmachine such a great opportunity. The possibility of touring with Megadeth would be a dream come true. They have been mine and Warmachine's biggest influence and inspiration since our inception."

"We have received a ton of exposure through TheLiveLine.com whilst taking part in this contest. We have had an uproar of new Warheads from all over the world in such a short period of time! It's quite amazing. They are at the cutting edge of awesome new ways of making band/fan communication better than ever! This is only the beginning of a great new relationship between Warmachine and TheLiveLine.com! The future looks bright!"

Warmachine Split With Drummer, Seek Replacement

Toronto's WARMACHINE have parted ways with drummer Mark Harding. "Let me just start off by telling you what an amazing drummer Mark is, as well as a great guy," vocalist/guitarist Joe Di Taranto writes on the group's web site. "I am very disappointed that things didn't work out. But Mark has some personal and mental issues that he has to work out. We wish him only the best.

"For the next few shows (former WARMACHINE drummer) Andrew Zenti will be filling in on drums for us. Andrew is very kindly taking time out of his busy schedule from playing with AEROSMITH tribute band MAMAKIN, to help us out. Check them out at www.mamakinrocks.com.

"And so the search is on for a new drummer. Anyone interested in the position please contact us at info@warmachineonline.com."

WARMACHINE's debut album, "The Beginning of the End", was released in North America earlier in the year via Nightmare Records.

Toronto's WARMACHINE have parted ways with bassist Andrea Zanini, guitarist Mike Miolla and recently recruited drummer Michael Amaral. "Unfortunately, [Michael] can no longer afford to play drums for us, but is focusing his time on his band, ENDORPHINS," vocalist/guitarist Joe Di Taranto writes on the group's web site. "I wish him all the luck in the world and intend to continue our friendship for many years to come. Former STAGES guitarist John Salerno has stepped in on guitar and we are currently looking for a new drummer and bassist. I'm looking forward to injecting some much-needed new blood into the band and am excited about what the future has in store."

WARMACHINE recently signed a one-album deal with Nightmare Records. "We're looking at a September release date in Central America for [our debut album] 'The Beginning of the End'," stated Taranto. "Canada should follow shortly after. Deals for Europe and Japan are still in the works as well."

Warmachine Enlist New Permanent Drummer

Torontonian metal lords Warmachine have posted this message on their official website:

It's been quite a while since we decided to part ways with Andrew. Over these past several months we've played with a variety of different drummers...some good and some not so good. But through out it all we've always had Michael Amaral to come back to. He's come along way with us and has stood the test of time. He's definitely paid his dues and that is why we've decided to make Michael a permanent member of Warmachine. Please make him feel welcome Warheads!
