Obscura Amentia Releases New Video Clip

Italian black metal studio-band Obscura Amentia issued a video clip for the title track of the latest album "The Art Of The Human Decadence," which was released earlier this year via Sliptrick Records.

The video clip tells about the journey of a single person and, at the same time, of the whole of mankind: a mental and physical evolution from innocence, purity and life (visually expressed through the use of light colors and lush nature) to corruption, artifice, doubt, and then in the end, death.

Obscura Amentia Sails The "Ocean"

Italian black metal studio-band Obscura Amentia released the new single "Ocean." Check out the lyric video in the player below. The song appears on the new album "The Art of the Human Decadence," which is available from Sliptrick Records.

"Ocean" is the romantic representation of the comparison between man and nature: the insignificant human being that suffers from the awareness of just being a drop in an ocean of life and nothing in the face of the magnificence of nature. Check it out here:

Obscura Amentia Signs With Sliptrick Records

Italian black metal studio-band Obscura Amentia signed on with Sliptrick Records for the release of the third album "The Art of the Human Decadence," which will be issued in 2017. Details on the album are expected shortly.

Obscura Amentia formed in Southern Italy with the initial intention to write a unique brand of black metal songs. The idea was to delve into the raw and atmospheric taking inspiration from Italian legends, horror images, ancient tales and create a musical style that would lean towards the melancholy and melodic. The lyrics are influenced deeply by literature and reflect the band's thoughts and feelings upon things such as the rediscovery of nature from the point of view of perfect harmony and confrontation with humanity.

The band previously released "The Darkest Dream" in 2010 and "Ritual" in 2012. More...
