Neurotic Deathfest Announces New Band Additions

The Neurotic Deathfest has announced new names for the 2015 installment, set to take place at 013 venue in Tilburg, The Netherlands on April 17th - 19th, 2015.

Four new acts are confirmed: Obituary, Gorod, Kronos and Holocausto Canibal. The organization earlier confirmed heavyweight acts such as Bloodbath and Immolation. Tickets are available through this location.

ZOM Streaming New Track

ZOM has premiered new track "The Depths" at Cvlt Nation. The song comes from upcoming debut album "Flesh Assimilation," which will be released November 24th in the U.S. via Dark Descent Records on CD, vinyl and digital formats.

The album will be released in Europe through Invictus Productions on November 30th. Artwork for the album comes courtesy of renowned artist Zbyszek Bielak. Check out "The Depths" at this site.

ZOM will tour as main support to Greece's Dead Congregation to promote "Flesh Assimilation" in December 2014/January 2015. Confirmed dates are as follows:

Anhedonist Posts Tour Dates

Seattle's Anhedonist is set to embark on the Descent Into The Sepulchre west coast tour with Dead Congregation and Grave Miasma this July. The band is touring in support of its full-length debut, "Netherwards," which is out now on Dark Descent Records with vinyl treatment coming soon from Parasitic/Nuclear Winter Records. Maryland Deathfest To Go On At Sonar As Planned

The Maryland Deathfest organizers report that "Sonar will be re-opening before MDF, and technically they already have."

As previously reported, the venue of the Maryland Deathfest was up in the air when Baltimore's Sonar nightclub failed to renew their liquor license and closed its doors.

The organizers futher commented: "These last couple of days have been incredibly confusing and stressful, but we are currently back to the regularly scheduled program. And don't worry, beyond plan B is a plan C, because that's how we roll. See you in a couple of weeks."

As such, the set times that were previously announced should now hold.

Maryland Deathfest 2011 To Change Venues

The ninth annual Maryland Deathfest has announced the final lineup and set times for the event. However, not long after announcing these details came word that the Baltimore venue, Sonar, unexpectedly closed its doors today. The festival organizers claim to have a backup plan that should involve little to no inconvenience to ticket holders (even those coming from out of town) and will be releasng more details soon.

Dead Congregation Sign To Konqueror Records

Greek "old-school" death metal band DEAD CONGREGATION have inked a deal with Konqueror Records. The band, who play "fast and dark" death metal will release their recently completed mini-CD, "Purifying Consecrated Ground", in early 2005.
