Canadian metal band Betrayer has posted a new music video online for their song "Convicted Soul." The song comes off their new self titled album. The video was directed by Glenn Fricker.

Betrayer Parts Ways With Bassist Norm Michaud
Windsor, Ontario Canada metal band Betrayer has announced that they have parted ways with bassist Norm Michaud. The band is currently seeking an experienced bassist. The band seeks a bassist who has the following influences: Megadeth, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Scorpions and has the a ability to sing backup vocals. Betrayer Begins Recording New Album
Canadian metal band, Betrayer, is currently recording their second album, following their debut LP release Rusted Icons (2001) and EP Shadowed Force (2005). The recording is taking place at Spectre Sound studios by Glenn Fricker (Bloodshot Eye, Assassinate The Following, Aquila) with whom Betrayer has recorded their previous efforts.
Mixing and mastering will be done by legendary Swedish record producer Fredrik Nordstrom (Dream Evil, In Flames, Opeth, Hammerfall). The album, titled "Ages Of Defiance" is scheduled to be completed by October 24th, 2009 with a release date to be announced.

Betrayer to Release New Single
Canadian thrashers, Betrayer, are pleased to announce the upcoming release of a new single on June 10th, 2007.
The new track, entitled 'Headed for Disaster', was co-written between BETRAYER and long-time songwriter, performer, and now operator of the Canadian Conservatory of Music, Pete Palazzolo (ex-TANZEN, SOLDIER, currently with ROSE CITY OVERTURE).
The track was recorded and mixed at SPECTRE SOUND STUDIOS by engineer Glenn Fricker, who has worked previously with such acts as RANDY BLYTHE of LAMB OF GOD, WOODS OF YPRES, BLOODSHOTEYE and BLACK KREEK. Vocals were recorded by Pete Palazzolo. More...
