German heavy metal kings Accept has announced that they will be heading back to North America for a headlining tour in April, sin support of their critically acclaimed new studio album, "Blood Of The Nations." Joining them on the tour will be Swedish heavy metal outfit Sabaton and, as special guests at the tour's New York show, American thrash legends Overkill.

The 2011 edition of the Metalfest Open Air Germany is set to take place on May 27th - 29th, 2011. Finnish metal act Kivimetsan Druidi is the latest act to be confirmed for the festival. Additional details on the Metalfest can be found at this location. Other confirmed acts include Sabaton, Cradle of Filth, Arch Enemy, Sodom, Watain, Belphegor, Kalmah, and more.
Sweden's Sonic Syndicate has issued the following announcement about performing at the Metal Christmas Festival:

Swedish heavy metallers Sabaton have confirmed its appearance for the forthcoming 70000 Tons of Metal festival. 70000 Tons of Metal is the cruise ship metal festival that sets sail Monday, January 24, 2011 aboard the Royal Caribbean “Majesty of the Seas” from Miami, Florida to Cozumel, Mexico.

Cirrha Niva has issued the following announcement about appearing in the upcoming 2011 Mindview Magazine calendar.
"Hi People, we are one of the twelve bands that are selected for the new 2011 calendar of Mindview Magazine. Some of the other bands are Nevermore, Paradise Lost, Epica, Alestorm and Sabaton.
"This calendar will be for sale within a few weeks and it will be available at the website of the Belgium magazine Mindview and at Large Popmerchandising. All profits are donated to a Crohn's disease fund. Oh, we are the December band."

Sweden's Sabaton recently posted a music video online for the song "Uprising," which can be found after the jump. The band has now commented on the video:
"We're very proud to announce the video for our song 'Uprising.' This video is a small insight to the events of the Warsaw Uprising that started on the 1:st of August 1944 and lasted for 63 days. We have been blessed with the opportunity to attend the ceremony remembering the fallen on 'W'-hour in Warsaw, as well as given the chance to meet and speak with veterans and survivors of the battle.
"This video is a tribute to all the brave men, women and children who fought and lost their lives in this battle, and we would like to ask you all to please spread the word about this video, and more importantly, this battle who sadly seems to be a forgotten chapter in history outside of Poland.

Swedish melodic metallers Sonic Syndicate have announced the European dates for their We Rule The Night Tour. The tour kicks of in mid-September and runs all the way through mid-December. The first four dates are supporting Swedish power metal band Sabaton, and then Sonic Syndicate are out on their own.

"Until now we have not been able to present any sales, and we have also been very excited what the new album will bring Sabaton. We can now present some chart positions we had in Europe, big thanks to all who supported us and actually bought the album. Without you we could not carry on! We are now focusing mostly on the tour in the autumn, and what a tour it will be... At this time sales are going really well and several shows are close to sold out already. Swedish power metal outfit Sabaton has entered the German album charts at number 20 with their latest studio album, "Coat Of Arms," which is available everywhere now through Nuclear Blast Records. A message from singer Joakim Brodén reads:

Swedish power metal band Sabaton has posted a new video online which looks at the making of their forthcoming new music video, "Uprising." You can check it out below. The video was recorded in mid-May in Poland and the song lyrically discusses the Warsaw uprising of 1944. The song appears on the band's new studio album, "Coat Of Arms" which is out now through Nuclear Blast Records.
Swedish metallers Sabaton are set to release their new album "Coat of Arms" on May 21st, 2010. The band has now issued the following update about streaming the entire album online:

Sweden's Sabaton is set to release the new album "Coat Of Arms" on May 21st, 2010. The band has now issued the following update about streaming another new song online from the album:
"We have now uploaded another song from our upcoming album Coat of Arms on our myspace site. This time its a classic Sabaton song handling the topic of the exile pilots who fought in the Battle of Brittain during WW2. This was one of first songs we directly felt a connection to and quickly made the decision that the song goes onto the album. Most likely you will hear us play this song live very soon! Enjoy folks!"
The organisers of Belgiums biggest metal festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, has confirmed the final bands for this years edition of the event. The biggest news is that Soulfly, the band led by former Sepultura frontman Max Cavalera, will be headlining the event on the Saturday. Other bands added to the bill include New York hardcore legends Sick Of It All, former Guns N Roses guitarist Slash, Hatebreed, Revamp, Oceans Of Sadness and Dear Superstar. The festival takes place in the town of Dessel from June 25th-27th.
