As Paradise Falls Releases New Video

Brisbane’s As Paradise Falls today releases a music video for the song "Dead Message," taken from upcoming full-length album "Digital Ritual." The video was produced by Ben Wrigley at Third Eye Visuals, and the album was produced by Shane Edwards (Northlane, Thy Art Is Murder).

“This song explores communication in the digital age, and how so many interactions between friends occur online” states guitarist Danny Kenneally. “Digital communication lives in a strange duality of being so vital, while at other times being flippantly disregarded the minute it doesn't meet our interests. Do we prefer isolation and are we bored with humanity, or are we just becoming lazy?”

July 1 – Fortitude Valley @ The Brightside w/ A Breach of Silence

As Paradise Falls Posts "Star Blind"

Australian metal outfit As Paradise Falls just unleashed a brand new video single called "Star Blind." This is the first single from forthcoming full-length album "Digital Ritual," which is set for a summer 2017 release. The band comments:

"The song 'Star Blind' is meant to explore the culture of celebrity in western society. In recent years, thanks to the advent of social media, the traditional model of what famous is or was has changed by epidemic proportions. The idea of fame hasn't always been seen as such a high goal to so many people. But what was a sometimes blurry line between fame and infamy is now pretty indistinguishable by people who seek validation in a world where it's so hard to find value in themselves. In the current modern digital culture, We need to value substance more than ever."

In November 2015, while As Paradise Falls came towards the end of recording a debut album at Karma Sound Studios in Thailand, the band was invited to support I Killed the Prom Queen in Bangkok. Tragically, the night before the show, guitarist Glen Barrie suddenly passed away in his sleep, leading to a halt in progress to give each member time to grieve the loss of their brother. More...

As Paradise Falls Posts "Digital Ritual"

Brisbane deathcore outfit As Paradise Falls today gives the world a chance peer into an upcoming record with a new video clip for the "Digital Ritual" track.

Late 2015 saw the band travel to Thailand to lay down the follow-up record to "Save Yourself." What followed was heartbreaking to the say the least - friend and brother in music, Glen Barrie, passed away unexpectedly and without warning, in his sleep. All of Glen's work on the record remains as he played it.

"Digital Ritual" is the first track to be released from this new record and its a definite shakeup in style for As Paradise Falls as a very short instrumental track. In another shift for the Brisbane 5-piece, the group also recently underwent a change of vocalist and guitarist.

This new track comes with a film clip created by Third Eye Visuals and it gives punters a sneak, albeit covert, look into who the new vocalist and guitarist are... can you tell who it is? More...
