Florida's Until The End has announced a reunion show. Until The End singer, Peter Kowalsky, has issued the following statement regarding their reunion:
"I've always been opposed to bands doing reunion shows but this is for a good cause, a benefit to fight cancer, and in my time with RN and Bishop over the last 5 years of touring, all the heckling and bullshit, we're doing this. All the members performing are straight edge and this is not negotiable. That may not seem like something important for most people, but in this day and age of sellouts and band wagon jumpers, its important to the integrity of UTE, straight edge, and hardcore as a whole. We are doing material from the s/t EP and “Blood In The Ink” only because we feel it is the best representation of the true spirit of UTE."
"UTE will be doing a show on June 20th, 2009 in Tampa @ Transitions." More...
New Jersey hardcore band Shattered Realm will enter the studio this summer to record two new tracks for an upcoming split release with the new (unnamed) band of John Wylie (Morning Again, Until The End). The recordings will feature the final contributions of Shattered Realm frontman Joe Hardcore, who has amicably left the band. Until the band finds a replacement, Chris (of Suffer The Living) will be filling in for live performances.
Dance Floor Justice, consisting of current and ex-members of Until the End and Where Fear and Weapons Meet, lost two of its members recently. Ariel, guitar, left the band citing not enough time to dedicate to the band. Julio, drums, has left as he is engaged and moving to St. Petersburg, Fl. There is no bad blood and the band wishes them the best of luck. "They will always be some of our best friends and we wish them the best". The band will go back into Southern Noise studios to re-record their full length album due out sometime in the spring. Chad, the fill-in bass player, will assume guitar duties while the band looks for a new drummer. For now you can check out the old recordings here.
As you already know, All Hell Breaks Loose recently broke up following the untimely death of drummer Joe Lamadrid. The band will however play a final show. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Joe's family. The show is being held at The Alley in Miami, FL on January 8th. Doors open at 5 PM and admission will be $10. The following bands will perform:
