As promised, here is the list to be added to that of December 2008!
Nobody will be surprised to see names to satisfy all those who are fans of Hellfest and it will be Christmas all over again!
"Who can already boast having seen the fathers of American Doom PENTAGRAM, the American Black Sabbath founded by Bobby Liebling who, unfortunately, didn't have as much fame but, nevertheless remains THE reference for all fans of these slow and wicked musics! The first and only date in Europe will be at Hellfest! the real godfather of US Doom!
"Not to forget without whom such artists as Neurosis, Napalm Death, Sepultura and many others, would never have found their different sounds! The inventor of Crust, AMEBIX is back in Europe for one date only, connaisseurs will be happy and all others will listen attentively as extreme music wouldn't be the same without them! More...

Gojira are now disclosing the band's brand new video "All the tears." It was directed and made by Spanish artist Jossie Malis.
Drummer Mario Duplantier comments "We first came accross Jossie 's work with his astounding animated films : Bend It to Machine (www.benditomachine. com) and we really liked the way he told stories in a very mysterious and unusual manner. His enigmatic animations deal with serious issues and are yet always permeated with a sense of poetry. We, as music writers, are trying to mix very different emotional atmospheres. We are happy to present a visual / audio work that gathers the sort of brutality of our music with the sensibility of his drawings."

Massachusetts based metallers All That Remains has announced that they will not be joining In Flames on their tour of the United States which also includes 36 Crazyfists and Gojira due to throat problems with lead singer, Phil Labonte.
A message from the band reads as follows: "Sorry, but we aren't gonna be at any more of the shows on the In Flames tour. We'll have a press release probably [later today, Monday, December 1]. The holiday weekend has prevented an official release 'cause everyone at the label had gone home when the decision was made to drop. Sorry and we'll figure some way out to make it up to you guys. Thanks and we hope you have a happy holidays and a happy New Year."
The Commodore Ballroom is easily one of the best live venues in Vancouver so I was stoked to see In Flames play there on the evening of November, 17th. A half hour before doors opened, there was already a horde of metal fans stretched down the block eagerly awaiting a packed line-up that included Portland's 36 Crazyfists, France's Gojira, All That Remains and the headliners In Flames. The show did not disappoint. Here's how it went down. More...
Gojira drummer Mario Duplantier recently spoke with Radio France International, during which he described the bands first show in North America: "We arrived in Montreal where we had a great and warm welcome, just as usual, we noticed that the people from Quebec seem to like French bands in general. This first show at Metropolis was sold out and people were very enthusiastc and wild during our show, we felt somewhat overwhelmed by the crowd's energy... that was awesome! We really need to go back there for a headlining show next time!”
He added: “Our set-list is pretty different from when we play in Europe, we are openers here. So we just play 35 minutes every night and that's a little bit frustrating with 4 albums of songs to choose from. We try to strike a balance between the more accessible tracks and the more violent ones, also, when we only have such a short playing time, we're just trying to be efficient and straight to the point.”
Prog-metal colossus Gojira have finally unleashed the video for "Vacuity," the first single for their skull-crushing new album The Way of All Flesh. Filmed by directors Julien Mokrani and Samuel Bodin with a RED video camera (the type used by Peter Jackson in the Lord of the Rings series,) "Vacuity" was described by guitarist/vocalist Joseph Duplantier to UK's Rock Sound magazine as being "about the Buddhist meaning of the word which is emptiness not nothingness, the ultimate presence. It was very hard to picture that concept in a video so we told the story of a girl carrying her own casket as the whole album is about facing your death and your pain." More...
French death metallers Gojira has posted the following message online:
"We had planned to stream the whole The Way Of All Flesh album from September 29th up to October 5th. Unfortunately, due to problems with the brand new MySpace player, we 're only able to stream ten songs. We hope that the last 2 songs 'Oroborus' and 'Vacuity' will be on the player soon.
"We're sorry for the inconvenience and are hoping it will not affect your listening. Thanks for your understanding."
You can listen to the majority of the bands new album, "The Way Of All Flesh" by heading to the bands Myspace page.
Massachusetts' ALL THAT REMAINS have posted another song, "Two Weeks," from the band's forthcoming album, "Overcome," on the band's MySpace page."This is the first time I've done a song that has singing from beginning to end," frontman Phil Labonte says."It was something I had wanted to do for some time, but ATR isn't gonna put out something half-assed and most of you guys know I'm always growing as a vocalist and we're always growing and changing as a metal band. This feels right and it's not the same 'here's our all singing ballad' kind of thing; it's still metal as hell!"
