Deathwish/Malfunction Records has released yet another free digital sampler. Himsa's final live show is this Saturday, August 16, 2008. The band comments:
"We are playing our last show this saturday. Sad, painful but relieving. It is the end of alot of hard work and sacrifice but I can say for all of us that it was worth all of it. Sacramento, California hardcore band Killing The Dream has completed their new Deathwish Inc. release. Here's an update from the band:
"Our new record is officially done and we are getting the final mixes back today. It still needs to be mastered after that, and the artwork is the process of being done as well, but things are coming together and we should be able to announce some sort of release date soon, as well as have an audio player up with a few new songs. We are super excited about it and can't wait to get it out."
The Rivalry Records 2008 Showcase will take place on February 29th and March 1st at Gilman St. in Berkeley, CA. Doors open at 7pm and admission is $10 for each day. Tickets are only available at the door. Here's the line-up:

This Is Hell has posted an update after the completion of their recent tour with Comeback Kid. The band will take a break from touring to record a new song in June that will be featured on a Trustkill sampler this summer, as well as write more new songs. The band also announced that they'll hit the road with Blacklisted and Killing the Dream beginning in the end of June. Dates for that tour will be announced soon.
The band continues to tour in support of their 2006 release Sundowning.
Sacramento, CA hardcore band Killing The Dream are currently writing their next album. The band will head to Baltimore in May to record the new album with producer/engineer J. Robbins (Clutch, Paint It Black). The effort will be available via Deathwish Inc. this fall.

Killing the Dream's debut album, "In Place, Apart", will be in stores September 27th.
California's Killing The Dream have now officially been added to the Deathwish Inc. roster. Originally formed in late-2002, the group released a self-titled EP with Rivalry Records this past Spring. You can download a track from the effort here. Their Deathwish debut, a 7" EP titled "I Rewrote It" will hit streets in early-2005.
