The Vision Bleak Recording New Album

Since June, THE VISION BLEAK have been in Klangschmiede Studio E to record their fourth, as-yet-untitled studio album. "On our new album, we are going to unite the strengths of our three previous records," the band says about the new material. "There will be everything from the straight-on dark rock of our debut album via the atmospheric soundscapes typical of 'Carpathia' to the furious thrash riffs we celebrated on 'The Wolves Go Hunt Their Prey'. And yet, this album is going to contain a few surprises as well!"

The Vision Bleak Finished Recording New Album

After nearly six months in the studio, THE VISION BLEAK have just finished recording their third album, "The Wolves Go Hunt Their Prey."

"The album contains nine songs which are definitely among the heaviest and at the same time the most atmospheric and most stringent pieces of music THE VISION BLEAK has ever released," says Ulf Theodor Schwadorf about the follow-up to 2005's very successful album "Carpathia". "The Metal part - read: the guitar riffs -of THE VISION BLEAK's sound certainly has made it more into the foreground on 'The Wolves Go Hunt Their Prey', but still there are bombastic orchestral sections, acoustic guitars, sitars and lots of atmospheric details featured in all songs."

The band isn't promising too much here, as the song 'By Our Brotherhood With Seth' will prove: seth.prophecyproductions.de

The Vision Bleak Begin Recording

German gothic metal band THE VISION BLEAK, formed by members of the late and almighty EMPYRIUM, have entered the studio to record their sophomore album. If interested, go to studioe.de to download two movies of the drumrecording sessions. Here's what they say:

THE VISION BLEAK just entered Klangschmiede Studio E to record the successor of their highly acclaimed debut album "The Deathship Has A New Captain"! According to the captains their new material is darker, heavier, more raw and riff-oriented, still capturing the atmosphere of death, doom and horror supremely! There will be more sinister orchestral and classical choir passages in their songs, which will be performed by "The Shadow Philharmonics" exclusively. Lyrically expect a concept album exploring wicked myths and legends from different cultures that are melt into one dramatic poem.

Check www.studioe.de from time to time to download short making of clips and get your news how the recording developes.
