Germany's Megaherz has today signed with Napalm Records. Following the breakthrough album "Kopfschuss" and subsequent releases, the band is currently working on a new album, to be released this fall.
Alexander Wohnhaas & Christian Bystron of Megaherz commented on the signing: "This is an important step for us. Napalm Records is a partner with a lot of experience and will present great opportunities for us. For the next album we absolutely want to go the extra mile and we already confident in a very good company like Napalm. It was important for us to sign with Napalm as they fully identify themselves with the band and we share the same goals. We´re looking forward to a successful, long-term cooperation!"
Napalm Records Vice President Thomas Caser is very excited about the upcoming cooperation with Megaherz and states: "We are unbelievable proud to welcome MEGAHERZ at Napalm Records. Napalm Records will be doing everything to get the band to the top, where such a talented and eclectic act simply belongs!"
German Gothic metal act Denight has issued the following announcement about providing a track for the upcoming "Gothic Romance Vol. 4" sampler album:
"We are very proud to be featured on the Gothic Romance Vol. 4 Sampler with our song 'The Core.' The sampler is released by zyx music / Golden Core Records. Beneath us the sampler contains the Bands Paradise Lost, Mono Inc., Love Like Blood, Nightwish, Megaherz, Sirenia, Lacrimas Profundere, Theatre of Tragedy, Letzte Instanz, Schandmaul and many more."

Germany's Castle Rock Festival is set to take place from July 1st - 2nd, 2011 at Broich Castle in Mühlheim an der Ruhr. The latest bands to be confirmed for the festival include Crematory, Moonspell, and Van Canto. Additional details on the festival can be found at this location. German industrial metal band Megaherz has announced the release date and album info for their upcoming album "Heuchler." The album will be released on July 25th, and the tracklisting is as follows:

A special edition digipack will also be released the same day with two additional tracks.
Munich, Germany-based band EISBRECHER, who are fronted by former MEGAHERZ singer Alexx Wesselsky, have inked a deal with AFM Records. The follow-up to the band's sensational 2004 debut will be released on October 6. It will be preceded by two single releases, "Leider" (July 14) and "Vergissmeinnicht" (August 25), which will hit the clubs in July.
A year ago, Megaherz released their latest album "Megaherz 5". To celebrate and to thank fans for their support, Megaherz is giving away two signed copies of the album, plus three signed copies of the American release of "Wer bist du", "I". To enter, fill out the form on Megaherz.com. Winners will be announced on December 24, 2005 in the forums.
Megaherz, the veteran crossover industrial rockers from Munich, have posted the following message on their official web site:
"Not every fan has the chance to see Megaherz live on stage, but the band and label think that every fan should at least have the chance to see the band in action in a video. So, in the next few weeks, Megaherz will be filming one for their next single which will likely be released in March, together with the presentation of the video. It has not yet been revealed which song it will be for, but that there will be a video is a done deal."
Megaherz's fifth studio album, entitled "Megaherz - 5", was released in December via S.A.D. Music.

The album's first single, "Dein Herz Schlägt", has been serviced to DJs, but is not currently available in stores. A second single, "Ja Genau", may surface before the start of the group's "Dein Herz Schlägt – Tour 2005" in January. A video is planned as well.
