Ophis has posted the following message online about releasing an upcoming full-length album later this year:
"We now have the release date: our new album 'Abhorrence In Opulence' will be released on September 5th by Cyclone Empire!
"You can have a little preview in this trailer with a snippet of the new material combined with live-pics made by N. Nivera of NNPhotography."
Germany's Ophis has issued the following announcement about finishing work on the upcoming "Abhorrence In Opulence" album:
"Today we finished the mixdown for our upcoming album. Thanks to our engineer / co-producer Oliver Carell!
"We are proud of the result, you can expect something really raw, definitely more brutal than the previous ones. We hope to announce a release date soon! The cover artwork is also almost finished!"

Ophis recently wrapped up a European tour with Ahab, and the band has now checked in with the following recap:
"Back home from the tour. What a fucking blast! Billion thanks to Ahab and Esoteric for the very great time we had and for the invitation to join.

Ophis is also releasing a split album with Officium Triste, with more details available at this location.
Ophis, which will be heading out on tour with Ahab at the end of the month, has now announced an upcoming split release with Officium Triste.
The split, titled "Immersed," will feature two brand new songs by each band for a total run time of around 40 minutes. The album is being mastered by Greg Chandler (Esoteric) at Priory Studios and the artwork can be viewed below. More...

Also, Ophis will release their new EP / MCD 'Nostrae Mortis Signaculum' on CxxtBxxcher Records in early december. The EP will contain 4 songs (24 min.) of depressive, violent Death Doom and will be limited to 500 copies. Available at the website and mailorder.
