Galactic Empire Announces January Shows

After announcing a debut album is finally arriving in February, the Star Wars metal cover band Galactic Empire has now revealed a handful of shows to take place in January. The group comments:

Galactic Empire Covers Star Wars Cantina Song

Galactic Empire (the most sinister heavy metal cosplay John Williams tribute band in the galaxy) just posted a cover version of the Cantina song from “Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope." Check it out at the band's Kickstarter page here.

The Kickstarter campaign to fund a debut full-length album - it ends in 3 days and is currently 94% funded. Special Kickstarter-only pre-order packages of the band’s upcoming debut full-length album are only available until Sunday morning.

Galactic Empire Posts New Video

It is a dark time for our generation. The evil Galactic Empire, obsessed with crushing all with their pure sonic annihilation, has dispatched another music video into your social media and audio playlists.

Introducing "The Imperial March." Once again, the dreaded Imperial Band has faithfully recreated the theme music originally written by John Williams.

"We are most grateful for your support and we hope you will assist us in spreading the word about this campaign of darkness. Join us and together, we can rule the Galaxy!" proclaims Dark Vader.

Along with the release of this new music video, the band has launched a Kickstarter campaign to promote the release of a debut full length album, and fund plans for touring. Check out the Galactic Empire‘s metallicized version of John Williams’ score from Star Wars streaming below. Galactic Empire consists of Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland from Pennsylvania’s Atrium Audio (August Burns Red, Rivers of Nihil) as well as members of Alustrium, and Black Crown Initiate vocalist James Dorton provides the voice of Darth Vader.
