Philly's The Minor Times, who recently signed to Prosthetic Records, have re-released "Making Enemies." Fresh off tour with Drowningman, the band will spend much of the fall writing the follow up. Look for it in the Spring of 2006.
DARKEST HOUR and TURMOIL are among the bands that have been confirmed for Gator's Aftermath, a one-day festival set to take place Friday, July 1 at Ziggy's in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

Tickets are $15 in advance (etix.com) or $20 the day of the show (with the purchase of a Sounds of the Underground ticket and $25 the day of without a Sounds of the Underground ticket).
For those who are out of town and attend the Sounds of the Underground, the Dixie Classic Fairgrounds are allowing camping overnight. So you can go rock the hell out at Sounds of the Underground, get a good night's sleep, and go directly across the street to Ziggy's the next day. There will be water connections for RVs and bathrooms with showers.
Philadelphia's The Minor Times have now officially signed a worldwide deal with Prosthetic Records. During the past three years, the group has released material with Hex Records and Level Plane Records. The band's most recent album, "Making Enemies," will be re-released on July 27th, while their next album will hit streets in spring of 2006. Meanwhile, look for The Minor Times on the road with Drowningman through June.
Drowningman will finish recording their new album for Thorp Records early next week. According to the band, "We are so excited about this record. We think you and your girlfriend will both really like it." Here's a track listing for the effort:

Entitled "Don't Push Us When We're Hot," the album will hit streets on August 23rd. In the meantime, catch the band on tour all over the U.S. with The Minor Times. Unfortunately, The Number Twelve Looks Like You, originally part of the tour, have now dropped off due to unforeseen circumstances. Danzig and special guest Doyle have been confirmed as the Saturday headliner for the seventh annual New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, to be held Friday-Sunday, April 22-24 at the Palladium in Worcester, Mass.
In addition to the regular Danzig set, Doyle with join the band for a blistering 30-minute set of classic Misfits material. Danzig and Doyle have performed together just three times during Danzig’s recent tour – their first performances together in over 21 years.
Hatebreed, Unearth and Obituary will headline Friday night.
Saturday’s other headliners will include Chimaira and Cryptopsy.
Sunday’s headliners are King Diamond, Nile and Soilwork.
Also appearing are A Life Once Lost, All Shall Perish, All That Remains, As I Lay Dying, Behemoth, Black Dahlia Murder, Blood Has Been Shed, Bury Your Dead, Dark Tranquility, Darkest Hour, Evergreen Terrace, Full Blown Chaos, Glass Casket, Hypocrisy, If Hope Dies, Internal Bleeding, Ion Dissonance, It Dies Today, Kylesa, Maroon, Misery Signals, Mnemic, Premonitions Of War, Pro-Pain, Red Chord, Reflux, Remembering Never, Scurvy, Sonata Arctica, Stemm, Strapping Young Lad, The Acacia Strain, The Agony Scene, The Esoteric, The Killing, The Minor Times, Throwdown, Trivium, Winter Solstice, and many more to be added.
