De Lirium's Order Complete Work On Second Album
Finnish technical death metal freaks De Lirium’s Order are finished with their second album, entitled Diagnosis. This slab of ruthless brutality was recorded at the notorious Studio Perkele (Deathchain, Shade Empire, Barathrum etc) and features ten tracks nine are De Lirium originals and a furious cover of the Carcass classic Incarnated Solvent Abuse.

The release date for the follow-up for the critically acclaimed debut album Victim No. 52 is set at 8.8.2007. The album is released on Shadow World Records (www.shadowworld.fi), a fresh new Finnish label concentrating on the gloomier side of music.

Firebird's "Hot Wings" To Receive European Release
FIREBIRD, the British band led by former CARCASS/NAPALM DEATH guitarist Bill Steer, will release their new album, "Hot Wings", in Europe in early July via Rise Above Records. The CD will be issued in Japan on May 31 through Victor Entertainment. The track listing for the effort is as follows

Carcass Member to Release Country Album
Jeff Walker of Carcass will be releasing an album of country cover songs ranging from Johnny Cash to Hank Williams. For the album, entitled "Welcome to Carcass Cuntry", Walker has enlisted the help of friends from bands such as Napalm Death, Amorphis, Faith No More, The Hellacopters, and his own band, Carcass.
"Welcome to Carcass Cuntry" will be released late Februrary or late March 2006 through Transmitter Records.
Band Members Refute Carcass, At The Gates Rumors
THE HAUNTED bassist Jonas Björler refuted the rumor that his former band AT THE GATES may be reuniting for a possible tour. In an e-mail sent to BLABBERMOUTH.NET, Björler said, "Just wanted to tell you that the rumours about the AT THE GATES reunion are untrue."
Former CARCASS frontman Jeff Walker also refuted the rumor that the Liverpool gore-grind pioneers may be reuniting for a possible tour. In an e-mail sent to BLABBERMOUTH.NET, Walker said, "For the record, Bill Steer wasn't even at the Metal Hammer awards and I didn't speak to Adrian that night! I'd find the whole matter hilarious if it wasn't for the fact that the rumor is probably gonna put a few people's noses out of joint..."
A June 22, 2005 posting on the Earache Records-affiliated web site www.metaltracks.com indicated that Walker, along with former CARCASS guitarist Bill Steer and ex-AT THE GATES drummer Adrian Erlandsson, hinted at the recent Metal Hammer Awards in London that the two bands are considering reforming and going on tour together in the near future.

Strong rumours gathered from the mouths of Jeff Walker & Bill Steer of Liverpool gore grind superstars Carcass and Adrian Erlandsson, drummer of Swedish melodic death metal band At The Gates at the recent Metal Hammer Awards in London suggest that both bands are considering reforming and going on tour together in the near future.

Carcass Frontman Pays Tribute To Schuldiner
Jeff Walker, who fronted seminal death metalheads Carcass, will join Finnish band To Separate The Flesh From The Bones on December 19 for a live performance. This happens in Tampere, Finland at a show called 'The Fragile Art Of Existence – Tribute To Chuck Shuldiner'. All proceeds will go to charity.
Ex-Carcass Man Goes Country
Former Carcass bassist/vocalist Jeff Walker is currently working on an album of country and blues covers. Among the artists he's recording are Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and John Denver. A number of top names are helping him with the as yet untitled project, including HIM's Ville Valo (vocals) and Gas (drums), plus one-time Carcass bandmate Bill Steer (guitar). Walker also hopes to get in Cathedral frontman Lee Dorrian, former Faith No More bassist Bill Gould, ex-Carcass drummer Ken Owen and Anathema. Neither a label nor a release date have yet been set.
Enforsaken 'Poison Me' Video Posted Online
Enforsaken's video for the track "Poison Me" has been posted online at the Autumn's End Entertainment web site. Check it out: High (mpg), Low (Windows Media).
As previously reported, the Arlington Heights, Illinois-based death metallers' latest album, "The Forever Endeavor", was released in Japan on September 29 through Soundholic Records. The Japanese pressing of the CD includes four additional "bonus" tracks — three previously unreleased numbers and a cover of Carcass' "Incarnated Solvent Abuse".
"The Forever Endeavor" was released in March through Century Media/Olympic Records.
Enforsaken's next live appearance will take place on December 18 at the Wisconsin Winter Metal Assault in Combined Locks, WI.
