“The songs on this album have a span of 10 years and it represents both the past and the present of Pantheon I.
"The album starts off with our latest EP recording and ends with our very first demo. you will be taken through a vast landscape where the sound become more raw and unpolished but the spirit still potent.
"A lot of these tracks have lost their original tapes so the sound may differ a lot from recording to recording, but this is our testimony to the world that pantheon I has always been about the extremes.”

Texas black metal act Absu has announced that it has parted ways with yet another guitarist, this time having Aethyris McKay leave the band. Aethyris McKay leaves Absu to join Pantheon I. Absu vocalist and drummer Proscriptor commented by saying:
"I am here to announce that guitarist Aethyris McKay has decided to quit Absu and has recently relocated to Oslo , Norway to join Pantheon I. Working with Aethyris for the past three years has been a prosperous experience and I have the utmost respect for him as my comrade and a superlative musician. He assisted me in resurrecting the band from its hiatus stage and I truly thank him for helping me recast the spell of 'mythological occult metal.'"
Norway's Pantheon I has checked in with the following update about the band's recent and upcoming activity:
"If Pantheon I has seemed uncharacteristically quiet recently it’s because the band has been very, very busy working on things behind the scenes. However, we thought we’d take a few minutes breather and update you on what has been going on.
"First of all, as you all know, we’ve been looking to increase the band by one more person with the addition of a vocalist. With the band expanding so much musically, this will allow Kvebek to put all his energies into the guitar, and give the band a front man who is free to roam the stage and interact more closely with the audience. Seems that there are a lot of very skilled vocalists out there who are interested in joining Pantheon I and we are spending a lot of time listening to demos and doing live auditions. As a band we put 101% into what we do, so the right person for us will not only be good at what they do, which includes singing in both Norwegian and English, and being able to perform both clean and extreme vocals, but also be willing and able to rehearse in Oslo regularly and definitely have a good sense of humour to fit in with the rest of us.
"Secondly, we have been working our asses off recording the preproduction for the next album. We already have 13 new songs ready and whilst we would really like you to hear what you can expect, you’ll just have to wait! We are ready to throw a few surprises your way, and the wait will be worth it. More...

Norway's Pantheon I has issued the following announcement about seeking out a new vocalist:
"Pantheon I is looking for an extreme vocalist for both recording and live appearances. We have just finished writing the new album which will be recorded this year, and we have a very good recorder on board. Live appearances are also being considered. The right person will have a flamboyant stage personality and must be able to rehearse in Oslo twice a week.
"Basically you must be very good at extreme vocals, but it is also an advantage if you can sing clean vocals and help with the lyrics. Experience is not as important as the right attitude and what you can do. Contact us at email@example.com if you are interested and feel you have what it takes. (Feel free to send us recording / demo-tracks, etc. that demonstrates your vocals) To hear some PANTHEON I tracks @ this location."
Norway's Pantheon I has issued the following statement about the band's recent appearance at the Devilstone Open Air Festival:

First of all to the crew and organizers of Devilstone for their hospitality and their professionalism. It was a real pleasure working with you all.
"Secondly to all the fans who came along. You were a fantastic audience and we hope you had as good a time watching us as we did playing for you. It was great to meet some of you in person, and we hope to be able to come back again and play an even longer set for you, meet a lot more of you, and drink even more beers together.
"And thirdly to Mayhem, Grave and all the other bands we met. Hope to meet you again on the road somewhere, where we can pick up where we left off. And have a few more beers of course. PS. If anyone has any photos or video of our set at Devlistone don’t be shy, give us a shout. "

Pantheon I has issued the following road report from their current European tour:
"Our blog is not working at the moment, so I will leave a note here to let you know we are still alive.
"Bus brakedown #1: A lot has happened since the last time we checked in. First, the bus broke daown in Leipzig. We had to spend the night at a hotel while the bus was being fixed, which was actually a nice break. Sleeping in a big bed and having the hotel breakfast. Althoug some of the guys stayed up drinking and having a food fight in the hotel room in stead of recharging the batteries...
"Bus brakedown #2: The next day we waited outside the venue in Leipzig for hours before the bus was finally fixed and we were already behind schedule when leaving Leipzig. But guess what. the bus broke down again on the highway, half way to Kassel. So there we were, stuck at a truckstop for hours. Finally a passanger bus came and picked us up and we just made it to Kassel when the local support was finished. We had to go straight on without soundcheck, but it was ok and a good crowd. More...
Norwegian extreme metallers Pantheon I have been confirmed to support Absu on the ucpoming European tour due to take place this autumn. The band’s cellist, classically trained musician Live Julianne, explained about Pantheon I’s inclusion on the tour: “We didn’t think originally that we would be able to do the tour because of other prior commitments. We had really put it completely out of our minds when the slot suddenly became available again just as we were re-scheduling a few things ourselves, so it all worked out perfectly. Playing live is something we all enjoy, and we have been looking forward to touring with the new album since we finished recording it. We’re scheduled to do a 6-date tour in Norway in September before the European tour kicks off, so right now we’re busy rehearsing and preparing. Panntheon I never do things by halves, and we’re ready to hit the road with a vengeance."
