Enthroned has issued the following announcement about beginning work on the band's ninth album:
"Ave! First of all, I would like to thank all the people who wrote to us the last month, thanks for your support and dedication! As many of you have noticed, our website is down for the last days and there has been not so many news or activity through this MS profile. The reason is simple, we are facing some problems with our provider and as far as Myspace is concerned, well, since the interface was changed more and more people are leaving MS for obvious reasons!!
"As far as Enthroned is concerned, we are at the moment very busy writing new material and also with the recording studio. Many bands are showing up, which is a good thing, Phorgath and Neraath are as well currently recording the new album of Emptiness and I'm also spending some time working on some artworks for several bands.
"So to resume it all: the website will be soon be back online, we're trying to find a descent solution regarding the MS page and the composition process sounds very promising! More news will follow..."

Enthroned has issued the following update about canceling their appearance at the "Bad Vibrations Over Munster" festival:
"Hi folks, Its with deep regrets deep regrets I have to inform you, that we have been forced to cancel Enthroned's appearance at 'Bad Vibrations over Munster' fest this next April. It seems that the anti-fascist organization 'Antifa' cannot make the difference between a Nazi/ fascist concentration and a non-political black metal festival with NO NSBM band or ideas involved!
"We received this mail today from the local organizer : 'Hey man, bad news about the gig in Münster on 03.04. The venue has canceled my event because of a threat of Antifa and I switched to Helvete Club Oberhausen. The owner of Sputnikhalle Münster don't want to make any contracts, nor give me any assurance for 03.04. Besides I wanted to offer both concerts (Bad Vibrations over Münster I and II) as a combi-ticket. So now I can't guarantee for an financial success. Not even that this event will take place, because I can't have any contract with the venue. I am afraid I must cancel this gig. It will be the first time I cancel a published event. I am very sorry about it.'
"No use to say that this kind of action is just lame and in some sort of way laughable coming from an organization which promotes anti-fascism through fascist acts..."

Vocalist Nornagest of Belgian black metallers Enthroned has issued the following update about finishing the recording of a new album:
"Ave! The recording session of our 8th album is done!! We are very satisfied of how ‘Pentagrammaton’ turns out; the final result of the album is exactly what we wanted to achieve: an album which can be best situated between our last offering ‘Tetra Karcist’ and Enthroned cult album ‘Towards the Skullthrone of Satan’ yet adding some new elements as usual.
"The whole concept of ‘Pentagrammaton’ deals with direct approach: the sound is warmer than ‘Tetra Karcist’, natural drums, heavy guitars for a lyrical concept based on lived experiences and facts, somehow something very personal lets say! After some listening sessions where some musicians and fans were invited, the general opinion is as follow: This next opus is more extreme, surprising, dark and filthy!
"Phorgath proves his talent as producer and has nothing to envy with well known producers around. The sound is wider, more opressing and definitely fitting Enthroned's ‘Pentagrammaton’, for sure one of 2010 best Black metal releases is on its way. We would like to thanx Vekhtor (Voidcom/ N.E.O.), KJ (Goat Torment), Shaun (Age of Torment), Ross (LOT), Onielar (Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult), ARNO and all the persons present then for their honest comments and help."
Enthroned has issued the following update regarding their recent lineup changes:
