Texas-based, melodic hardcore group Close Your Eyes will be joining one of the most well known Christian tours to pop up in the last few years. Scream the Prayer, going on its fifth year, starts its 19 city run on June 22nd in Nashville, TN. Close Your Eyes will be sharing the stage with bands like Demon Hunter (select dates), Emery, Sleeping Giant and many more.
Close Your Eyes from Abilene, TX will be debuting the band's new lineup on the Scream the Prayer tour. Founding members Brett Callaway - lead guitar/vocals and Sonny Vega – bassist, will welcome back Andrew Rodriguez on rhythm guitar. Rodriguez, who has been an active member in Close Your Eyes for many years, is currently enrolled in school working towards his degree. He is putting his books aside this summer to join the band on stage. The band is also welcoming the two new additions: vocalist Mikey Sawyer and Jordan Vesey on drums.

Ain't No Grave Records is proud to announce that two of the label's recording artists will be appearing on this year's "Scream The Prayer" Tour. My condolences to PS3 metal fans looking for a Rock Band fix, as the new releases coming February 9th see very little in the way of heavy music on the Rock Band Network. The Xbox 360 edition continues to have the metal selection expand again this week, however. For anyone who has been following the most recent metal additions to Rock Band, it should come as no surprise that Amberian Dawn and Kataklysm are both continuing their invasion of the game. Also new this week comes tracks from No Bragging Rights, After the Burial, Devin Townsend, Emery, and Cloudscape.

The official bill for the 2009 Soundwave festival in Australia has been recently released. The festival will visit five of Down Under's major cities (Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth) starting in Brisbane on the 21st of February and finishing up Perth on the 2nd of March, 2009. Limited pre-sale tickets will be made available for $110 (Australian) via registering at the Soundwave Festival website.
