Game Over Releases "Last Before The End" Video

Italian thrash metal heroes Game Over posted a video clip for the first single for the upcoming release "Claiming Supremacy," which drops on on November 17th via Scarlet Records. Check out the music video for "Last Before the End" in the playerb elow.

Inspired by the classic Bay Area thrash metal scene of the 80's, Game Over mixes those influences with modern sounds and a very distinctive personality. "Claiming Supremacy" is the perfect combination of the band's furious riffing, hardcore attitude and classic metal influences, with very obscure lyrics and, of course, those anthemic choruses that fans recognize as a band trademark.

Overall the album is heavier, faster and ruthless than ever. Lyrics vary from B-movie scenarios to social-political themes, science fiction, mythology and history. The album has been mixed and mastered by Joel Grind (Toxic Holocaust), who has previously worked with Midnight, SunnO))), Poison Idea, Integrityand many more. "Claiming Supremacy," which will be released in Japan by Marquee, will also be available in a vinyl version limited to 500 copies.

Italian thrash metal heroes Game Over are going to release the new album "Claiming Supremacy" on November 17th via Scarlet Records.

Following the widely successful "Crimes Against Reality" and the "Blessed Are The Heretics" EP, which confirmed the band as one of the most promising metal acts in Europe and among the NWoTM best, "Claiming Supremacy" is without any doubt the band’s most mature album so far.

Inspired by the classic Bay Area thrash metal scene of the 80's, Game Over mixes those influences with modern sounds and a very distinctive personality. Game Over To Issue "Blessed Are The Heretics" EP

Italian thrash act Game Over will release the new EP "Blessed Are The Heretics" via Scarlet Records on April 21st.

Following the success of the critically acclaimed album "Crimes Against Reality," Game Over is back with a six track EP, including the title track "Blessed Are The Heretics," a cover of Dead Or Alive’s "You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)," a new version of the song "No More" (from the "Burst Into The Quiet" record) re-recorded in Italian ("Mai più" is Game Over’s very first attempt at using native tongue in a song) and three live tracks from the band’s recent US and Chinese tours.

"Blessed Are The Heretics" can be considered an anticipation of the band’s next full length album, mixing thrash metal, hardcore, progressive and classical influences, with very obscure lyrics.

Game Over Announces New Album

"Crimes Against Reality" is the third full length album for Italy's Game Over, one of the most promising up and coming thrash bands in the European metal scene. It follows the widely successful "Burst Into The Quiet," which put Game Over on the map and displayed the massive potential.

Inspired by the classic Bay Area thrash metal scene of the '80's, Game Over mixes those influences with modern sounds and a very distinctive personality. "Crimes Against Reality" contains ten new tracks that mix sharp riffs, anthemic choruses and powerful rhythms, enriched by the use of unusual instruments such as Moogs and Hammonds. Lyrics vary from B-movie scenarios to social-political themes, science fiction, mythology and dystopian visions.

The album was recorded by Simone Mularoni (DGM) at Domination Studio in San Marino. Cover artwork was handled by acclaimed artist Mario E. Lopez (Evil Invaders, Impalers, Hyades). It will be released on April 15th on Scarlet Records.

Soon after the album release the band will embark in an extensive world tour, with dates in America in April, and European & Japan later this year.

Game Over Announces New Album, Signs With Scarlet

Italian thrash act Game Over has signed on with Scarlet Records for the release of the sophomore LP "Burst Into the Quiet." The album is the follow up to the 2012 debut album "For Humanity" (My Graveyard Productions). The band features Renato "Reno" Chiccoli (Asgard) on vocals and bass.

Inspired by the classic Bay Area thrash metal scene, Game Over mix those influences with modern sounds and a very distinctive personality, which the new album displays in full force. These 9 brand-new tracks are made of "sharp riffs, groovy rhytms and super-fast guitar solos," with lyrics ranging from the horror imaginary of the Eighties b-movies to social commentary and introspective thoughts. "Burst Into The Quiet" was produced, mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni (DGM) at Domination Studios and features a cover created by Mario Lopez.
