"Most of the material I have written in my life has been autobiographical, this song is one of the exceptions. The song was written for and about my wife's childhood. Because of the subject and the feelings I have for my wife this was a very difficult song to sing. But I believe that the topic is an important one to bring into the light and out of the shadows." "For me this is so much more than a collection of songs, it is the culmination of a lifetime of living. It is about addictions , love, pain and many facets of the human condition. I tend to write autobiographically and on this album I dealt with topics I've never explored," explains Russell of the new record.

Frontiers Music Srl is excited to announce the signing of Jack Russell's Great White to the label, representing the next phase of the iconic singer's rock n' roll legacy.
At the Jack Russell's Great White inception in 2011, the frontman welcomed back longtime bassist and friend Tony Montana - this time as a guitar player and keyboardist - lead guitarist Robby Lochner (Rob Halford ), drummer Dicki Fliszar (Bruce Dickinson ) and Dan McNay (Montrose ) on bass.
The new album on the horizon, which is Jack's 14th studio album, boasts the bluesy hard rock stomp that made Russell an icon in the first place.
"I want to say how happy and excited I am about my band," states Jack Russel regarding the recent signing with Frontiers for the new album. "I have so much respect for Serafino, Mario, Derek and their team and am so thankful to be working with them. The band and I are off the hook about the new material. You are going to love it!"

The new single "Hard Habit" is out now, and you can check out a lyric video for the track below. "Hard Habit" comes off the forthcoming studio album "The Gauntlet," due out later in 2015. Jack Russel comments:
"With the ever-changing climate of the music industry, we've decided that we will be releasing several digital singles throughout 2015. 'Hard Habit' is the first in a series of singles the band will put out this year. Be on the lookout for our next single in the coming months! We are really proud of this song and we plan on playing it live as well as some other new tunes and of course all the classic Jack Russell's Great White songs you know and love. See you on the road!"

Following an appearance at this year's M3 Festival, Jack Russell's Great White is prepared to be on the road all year long, rocking fans nationwide.
Frontman Jack Russell suffered an injury this past week, tearing his Achilles tendon. But don't worry, Russell is already recovering and vows to not miss a single show. He comments:
"I was working out hard trying to be the in the best shape I could be and I tore my Achilles tendon! Ain't that a bitch! My doctor told me it was a spontaneous injury and I was doing my exercise routine correctly. I will NOT be canceling any shows and my voice is better than ever so I look forward to seeing everyone!"
