I think for the first time in our career, upon presenting our ideas, we get to hear the word "yes" more often. It's like discovering an unknown tribe on a distant island. Except we're the tribe and we don't know your language. Plus we have spears and swords and we're cannibals. Either way, we're insanely animated about R&T showing up and want to try on their Nike Air Jordans."

Atlanta's hardcore band THE CHARIOT (Solid State Records) is premiering its new video for the song "They Drew Their Swords" exclusively on woozyfly.com. For one day only, Woozyfly.com will feature THE CHARIOT's masterfully constructed clip on the main page for 24 hours of visual and auditory overload. Directed by none other than vocalist Josh Scogin himself, this performance-based video with wild visual effects is not for the faint at heart.
Scogin explains: "I wanted it to be really out there, with no boundaries or real structure. We really wanted it to show how chaotic the music was, and made that the main focus, even more than the video itself. I'd say the random segments are the circus sideshow, but more realistic. Anything I wanted to shoot I did and if it worked I kept it."
THE CHARIOT is currently out on the road with ALESANA, closing out an impressive series of tours in support of the band's new CD, entitled "The Fiancée". Next stop for THE CHARIOT is a stint at Bamboozle Music Festival in New Jersey on May 3.
The "Where Myth Fades to Legend World Tour" will make its way across the United Sates, Canada, Mexico this Spring. Alesana will take along friends The Chariot (Solid State Records ), Sky Eats Airplane (Equal Vision Records), Love Hate Hero (Ferret Records) and Our Last Night (Epitaph). This tour will kick off March 23 in Utah and end in Mexico in May.
Since its release last year, Alesana's latest album, "On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax," has sold 50,000 records and landed them the role as force to reckoned with in the hardcore scene. Alesana has sold 50,000 copies of this debut full length album as it spent 33 weeks straight on the Billboard New Alternative Artist Chart. They are currently in the studio with producer Steve Evetts recording their sophomore album, Where Myth Fades To Legend. This album is scheduled for a summer release.
