Instrumental progressive metal act Dysrhythmia has completed work on new album, “Test Of Submission.” Profound Lore Records commented on the album:
"With 'Test Of Submission' (the band’s sixth full-length album) the trio of Kevin Hufnagel, Colin Marston, and Jeff Eber have delivered their darkest, most devastating and intense album of their 13-year career. An album where the usual Dysrhythmia mannerisms interweave through the band’s distinct style of progressive/jazz-infused rhythms and intense counterpoint, all while providing a new sense of catchiness and even melody. 'Test Of Submission' is also an album in which Dysrhythmia will rightfully reclaim the throne in an overbearing scene of acts who merely, and feebly attempt to try and match the New York power-trio’s musical skill, prowess, and of course their sense of artistry. To no avail.
"In what guitarist Kevin Hufnagel (also of present-day Gorguts) states that the new Dysrhythmia album (to officially be released Aug 28th) was his most challenging recording endeavor yet, tracklisting to 'Test Of Submission' goes as follows:" More...

"Hey all, so we're back from our week long trip with touring buddies Tombs. The shows overall were a great time.. Brooklyn, NY and Richmond, VA being the best, in my opinion. Sadly, our van is now dead thanks to this trip, but it was bound to happen anyway. Today we begin recording our next album here in our own studio Menegroth: The Thousand Caves in Woodhaven Queens, NY. Our very own Colin Marston will be engineering the record. The album will be titled 'Psychic Maps' and will feature 6 songs totaling at around 40 minutes. Plans are to have it out via Relapse around June with touring to follow. Cheers!"

The debut album heeding from the black metal vision of guitar wizard Mick Barr (Ocrilim, Orthrelm) and Colin Marston (Behold...The Arctopus, Dysrhythmia, Byla, Indricothere, etc.) is now available exclusively via the Profound Lore website a few weeks before its official release.
The Krallice debut album is a virulent vision from the twisted and unique minds of Barr and Marston. The band also features Bloody Panda drummer Lev Weinstein. Epic time-stretching hymns that take reference from Weakling's "Dead As Dreams," Burzum's "Hvis Lyset Tar Oss" masterpiece, Gorgoroth's "Antichrist," and Ulver's "Nattens Madrigal," while incorporating Barr and Marston's musical pedigree from their respective acts, Krallice has nevertheless created a distinct-sounding opus that helps to strengthen and augment the landscape of North American black metal.
The tracklisting for the Krallice album goes as follows:
1. Wretched Wisdom
3. Molec Codices
5. Energy Chasms
6. Forgiveness In Rot
You can check out an MP3 of "Wretched Wisdom" on the MP3 section of Profound Lore's website.
