Unleashed have announced the following on their search for a temporary replacement for drummer Anders, who had been hospitalized due to a lung-collapse:
"We have now found a temporary replacement for Anders for the Metal Mania festival in Poland.
An excellent drummer named Jonas Tyskhagen willjoin us on the trip toPoland for some deadly metal on Saturday the 4th of March.
Unleashed have waited a long time to finallycome backto Poland........you'd better believe we are ready to bang heads !!!"
HARMS WAY, the new Swedish quartet featuring Fredrik "Eugene" Lindgren (guitar; ex-UNLEASHED, BORN OF FIRE, TERRA FIRMA, LOUDPIPES, CELESTIAL PAIN), Mr. Dim (vocals and bass; BORN OF FIRE), Erik Wallin (guitar; ex-MERCILESS) and Stefan Carlsson (drums; ex-MERCILESS, DIA PLASMA, TRANSPORT LEAGUE, BLACKSHINE), have inked a deal with Black Lodge Records. The band are currently at White Chapel Music Machine studio in Stockholm, Sweden recording their full-length debut, due later in the year.
According to a press release, HARMS WAY "creates a fresh and heavy form of catchy stoner/metal/rock in the vein of BLACK SABBATH, LED ZEPPELIN and early IRON MAIDEN but with an touch of the 21st century and bands like QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE etc. without any boundaries whatsoever."
Unleashed have posted the following message on their official website regarding drummer Anders Schultz and summer festivals:
"Somebad news first, Anders has been hospitalized for about a week due to a lung-collapse. He's been through some serious pain and literally been to Hell and back.
A few days ago when I spoke to him he had a cord stuck into his lungs through the ribs for repair reasons.
The damn thing left a hole in his body that still hasn't grown together. That's Death Metal for ya' right there folks !!!
However, he is recovering and has now left the hospital with Doctors orders to keep still for a number of weeks. Obviously, he wasn't ready for Valhalla just yet........
We are now looking to find a temporary replacement only for the Metal Mania festival in Poland next week. We will keep you posted on how we succeed in doing just that.
"The good news is that Unleashed is now confirmed for the 'Bang Your Head !!!' Festival in Balingen, Germany on the 23rd of June. Together with acts like Whitesnake, Helloween and Y&T.
"Unleashed will also headline the 'Queens of Metal' Open Air festival on the 17th of June in Kleinwenkheim, Germany. We are looking forward to another deathbanging summer !!!"
DEICIDE, IGNITE and CATARACT are the latest confirmed bands for this year's Metalliga Open Air festival, set to take place June 16-17 in Dornbirn – Lustenau, Austria. The festival billing is shaping up as follows (in alphabetical order):

Veteran San Francisco Bay Area metallers TESTAMENT are the latest confirmed band for the MetalMania 2006 festival, set to take place March 4, 2006 at Spodek in Katowice, Poland. The festival billing is shaping up as follows (in alphabetical order):
Swedish death metallers UNLEASHED have posted the following message on their official web site:
"Since the beginning of this year we have announced and promoted our confirmed participation on the X-Mass tour 2005 [with HYPOCRISY, EXODUS, NAGLFAR, WINTERSUN and FEAR MY THOUGHTS].
"According to the promoter Metallysee, Nuclear Blast Records have now sponsored the tour and also have the right to choose which bands they want next to theirs on the bill. Accordingly, they ordered UNLEASHED off the bill, scared shitless of the competition UNLEASHED would cause, or just don't like us?
"Smart move either way, and quite understandable.
"We have tried to book a replacement tour for December as announced on our website. Unfortunately, time was not on our side to do so and we will have to reschedule for next year. We will now concentrate on the final details of the upcoming DVD release and also our eighth full length album. We plan to enter the studio in January 2006."
UNLEASHED filmed their entire performance at the Up From The Ground festival (August 26-27, 2005) for their upcoming full-length DVD, tentatively due next year. UNLEASHED had also shot their July 1 concert at the With Full Force festival in Leipzig, Germany for the as-yet-untitled disc.
UNLEASHED recently completed the Harvest Festival 2005 European tour with NILE, PUNGENT STENCH, BEHEMOTH, INCANTATION and BELHEGOR. The band are continuing to tour in support of their seventh studio album, "Sworn Allegiance", which was released last fall through Century Media Records. The follow-up to 2002's "Hell's Unleashed" was recorded and mixed by Fredrik Folkare at Chrome Studios and mastered by Peter In de Betou of Tailor Maid Productions (DIMMU BORGIR, AMON AMARTH, KATATONIA).
Unleashed are now confirmed for a few shows in Mexico in the last week of October. Dates are as follows:

Unleashed will be playing 34 000 Ton Metal (Sweden Rock Cruise), which takes place September 30 to October 1. Unleashed will also be performing at the Metallysee X-Mass Festivals this December.
Unleashed will be recording some extra material for their upcoming DVD at the Up From The Ground Festival in Germany on August 27.
Hypocrisy, Mnemic and Misery Index are the latest confirmations for the Up From The Ground festival, set to be held August 26-27 in Gemünden/Steinwiesen, Germany.

The worldwide success of Unleashed's still hot new album “Sworn Allegiance” once more proved the cult status of this legendary Death Metalheads. The short but intense tour with In Battle and Yattering and the two shows at the X-Mass Festivals this last December presented the four piece in over-the-top shape. Armageddon Music have announced a March 21 release date for the "Armageddon Over Wacken Live 2004" 3-CD set. The package will feature more than 220 minutes and 38 bands, along with liner notes, photos and information about the annual German metal festival. Here is the complete track listing:

The sixth edition of the 2000 Decibel-festival will take place in Bengtsfors, Sweden (180 km north of Gothenburg) the 21st May 2005. Twenty-two bands will play on three different stages. The first confirmed bands for the festival are Face Down, Grave, Loud N Nasty, The Storyteller and Unleashed. For more information, visit the festival website at www.mfdecibel.com.
Long-running New Jersey-based metallers Overkill are the latest band confirmed for the 2005 edition of the Rock Hard Festival, set to take place May 13-15 at Amphitheater in Gelsenkirchen. Other groups scheduled to appear at the festival include The Haunted, Children Of Bodom, Unleashed, Amon Amarth, Masterplan, Ensiferum and Heaven Shall Burn. Overkill's last studio album, "Killbox 13", was released in 2003 via Spitfire Records.
Swedish death metal legends Unleashed are tentatively scheduled to set out on a two-week headlining European tour beginning on November 19 in France, and is expected to conclude in early December. It is not yet known what bands will be filling the support slot.
The band just released their seventh album, "Sworn Allegiance," in the U.S. this past Tuesday (September 7) through Century Media Records.
