The Old Dead Tree Enter Studio
French doomsters THE OLD DEAD TREE will have just entered the Stage One Studio, Germany. The band will again work with producer Andy Classen, who was very enthusiastic about their latest release "The Nameless Disease" : "All in all I like the result, I think it's a great album, which doesn't sound like anything I've heard so far, so I hope the band will come back again to Stage One Studio to do some more beautiful albums."
The Old Dead Tree To Enter Studio Early Next Year
French gothic metallers The Old Dead Tree are scheduled to enter Stage One studio in Bühne, Germany in early 2005 with producer Andy Classen to begin recording the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2003's "The Nameless Disease". A September 2005 release through Season of Mist is expected.
As previously reported, The Old Dead Tree recently announced the addition of drummer Foued Moukid (ex-Horresco Referens) to the group's ranks.
Moukid joins the band as the replacement for Franck Métayer, who left the group back in February.
The Old Dead Tree's original drummer, Frédéric Guillemot, committed suicide in 1999, shortly after the release of the group's debut mini-CD, "The Blossom".
