Dimentianon Lining Up New Shows

New York City based extreme metal act Dimentianon, after a slight break from public appearance, has recently revamped the band's lineup and is again booking live appearances for the coming months.

The band's first confirmed appearance for 2011 will see the group taking part in a Saturday night show at Brooklyn's The Acheron alongside a collective of other tri-state-based underground metal outfits including Horrifier, Sacrificial Blood, Cain and Brohammer on February 26th. More live action will be announced in the coming months.

Dimentianon also released a new album last year titled "Collapse The Void." Details on the release can be found here.

New York extreme metallers Dimentianon has revealed the tracklisting for it's forthcoming studio album, titled "Collapse The Void." The new album is set for release on October 19, 2010 through Paragon Records and was produced by Pete Rutcho.

Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult Announces US Tour

Subterranean German black metal band DARKENED NOCTURN SLAUGHTERCULT will land on US soil for the first time ever later this week to perform three rare and special shows alongside Inquisition and Ritual Combat (among others). On the Anthems Of Pestilence & Death mini tour 2010, the band plan to condemn venues in San Francisco, Compton and Brooklyn before heading home, where they will plot their next bouts of onstage chaos. Dimentianon To Open For Marduk in NYC

DIMENTIANON has announced that they will be the opening act for Marduk's New York date on their upcoming US tour. The tour - featuring Nachtmystium, Mantic Ritual, Merrimack and Black Anvil. The date will be stopping by NYC's Grammercy Theater on December 16th.

Additionally, DIMENTIANON's new line-up is complete, joining the remaining members Greg L.(Guitar) and M.(vocals), are Zoltan V. (Lead Guitar), Maureen M.(Bass), and Pete C.(Drums). The band is currently finishing writing the material for the next full-length on a to-be-determined label. Songs to appear on the album include: "A Credit to Dementia," "The Forgotten," "Undying Bliss," "Breathe Deep," "A Dirge to the Death ov Life," "Love and Hope," "Gamma Velurum," and "Collapse the Void."

Obituary To Headline Brooklyn Xecution Festival

On Saturday, December 8, Florida's iconic death metal band OBITUARY will make its return to New York, headlining the Brooklyn Xecution Festival 2007 at Club Europa in Greenpoint Brooklyn. The event is presented by mandatory New York heavy metal hangout Duff's Brooklyn and sponsored by Williamsburg's San Loco.

Supporting OBITUARY will be respected New York metalcore pioneers MERAUDER, Virginia's lethal, old-school thrashers AT WAR, brutal, black death blasphemers INCANTATION, technical grind-gore masters MALIGNANCY, and Michigan's black thrashers SAURON. Local support for the event features harsh, black/death merchants DIMENTIANON, old-school crossover pitbulls UNDIVIDED, crunchy, death metal hellhounds SHADOW OF DEMISE and old-school death metal, sci-fi reverends CYBER CHRIST. Doors open promptly at 5:00 p.m.
